    The drivers side 8 stage knob is supposed to be on the right side (rear facing) on the drivers side per the installation instructions. Yours is backwards. Hydraulic hose routed to the right per RC. They are great. Really like my mine.

    Great info on the RCV coil overs. Thinking about them for mine. Thanks

      There a good price but not the best off road more of a on road looks good . But it does do ok over stock suspension

    If you do a lot of off roading and hauling you should also do rear traction bars I was told

    Did you get control arms or any other components when you swapped shocks? I’m looking into this kit with some UCA’s and other hardware to accompany the kit

      Honestly no I never its a work truck so did not spend the cash on the bling . If it was a truck for personal use then yest I would have gotten the extra stuff . But works fine on stock !

    I’ve seen some people say these COs are great (especially for the money), and I’ve also seen people say they are trash. Obviously you can’t jump them because… well it’s RC, but would you recommend them? I do 85% road and 15% offroad. I just want something that’s good. Between these and Bilstein 6112s. I have a Tundra, so that’ll effect it.

      @@Workhard_investharder Might just say screw it and go Bilstein 6112… There’s a good chance I’ll be out of country for a long time, and I don’t wanna drop a bunch of money on something I’ll only get to use for 15 months max. Have any experience with the 6112s or anything else?

    Do you notice a difference in ride quality when you adjust it ?

    do you ever tow? how do they do when you're towing? can you keep the back at an 8 to eliminate squat or do you still get squat when towing?

    • @Workhard_investharder
      @Workhard_investharder  Před 2 lety +1

      When towing you can definitely use 8 to help reduce the squat but it does not eliminate it. Also the ride will be extremely rough I keep it at 1

    • @andrewjones8825
      @andrewjones8825 Před 2 lety +1

      @@Workhard_investharder but you think using the vertex set up would be less of a damage/squat while towing than using a puck/space set up?

    • @Workhard_investharder
      @Workhard_investharder  Před 2 lety +1

      No there will still be squat there just shox to absorbe hits. You need to look at adding a leaf spring if you are wanting a level ride . Suspension shox do nothing to help with squat

  • @mu92nj

    Is this worth it ? I'm looking for suspension that do a good job at high speed off-road

    • @Workhard_investharder
      @Workhard_investharder  Před 2 lety +2

      It's worth it for the money 💰 but if you are wanting to jump or have a very soft ride this is not it go with king coil and long arm kit . This is a ok kit rc is definitely low end and cost effective.

    Are you still liking the RC vertex setup? I just got the same 2" front coilovers. I am not sure if the ride hight setting it comes with is the 2 inches or do I need to adjust it. Looks like yours is the same as mine so I'm thinking it should be the 2" out of the box.

    • @Workhard_investharder
      @Workhard_investharder  Před 2 lety +3

      Ya its factory 2 inch but the rear I had to add a leaf 🍃. As for the rid quality I would not get these again and go for king shox instead.

      @@Workhard_investharder Thanks for the reply, I'd like some King shock too but can't justify the expense on a 13 year old truck ;(
