I use high temperature stainless steel wool much longer lasting
Gloves and put baby powder on exposed skin. The baby powder fills your pores and keeps the fiber glass out. No itch.
+Iowarail Good tip!
I've heard that before! nice one
Amazing video!!! Thank you!!! :-)
You can see all the fiberglass floating around your mouth and head as youre talking. Its a good idea to were a respirator or N95 mask when ever dealing with fiberglass. IMHO
philhawtin5269 My thoughts exactly. I watched a few videos on this but witnessed more of "What Not To Do" than anything. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is important especially when working with fiberglass and chemicals. Definitely noticed all the tiny fiberglass particulate floating in the air around your face. Informative video, but maybe emphasis on safety would turn this vid up a notch. Or don't.... safety- shmafety.
Real men eat fiberglass.
Ever tried to talk on camera with a mask? Genius
i like the loud exhuast pipe sound
I liked the AudioJungle music :)
my friend why does putting the glass loop tighter make the sound louder? Can you help me with explain? I still try do by myself. But i wanna do some bass sound in my pipe 18" for kawasaki Z400
Hi, Can I change the glasswool with stock Silencer? (YZF R1 2008)
Good Job Greg! Tell Ronnie Mac to get you a fresh beer.
I can't get mine apart... Any tips?
Good video! How often should this be done?
+Krzysztof Piotrowski I like to make this a once-a-year project, but it should be done when necessary. You can take the can off and knock it, and if it sounds hollow, go ahead and repack. Also, if it's noticeably louder, you'll want to repack then.
+Krzysztof Piotrowski on 2 strokes more often
san po nakakabili nung fiber
Does a stock muffler need repacking or is this just for after market mufflers
Just repacked my 1990 EX 500 track/race bike muffler and did it the same way you did . The previous owner had removed 3/4 of the packing inside the muffler . Any idea why he would have raced it with 3/4 baffle material missing ?
maybe to save weight lol
burns out overtime
How about a chicken pipe organ sport how to repack that kind off pipe
Sure scratched the hell out of it with that scrubber pad. A triple odd steel wool would have worked great for that.
Videos like this are the reason why I do all of my own bike maintenance. You have no clue how to properly wrap a baffle.
wear a mask next time all that crap went to your lungs !!!
how many times is this guy gotta say "go ahead and" lol
