I am starting the break in tomorrow morning and finishing the break in on my Serpent SRX8. I am going to buy some foam and rubber tires cause I am sure I will be burning them up
hey bro! thats awesome! Iim glad you're getting this thing, its pretty dope and still in stock for now. I got to run both of the serpent buggies and the GT2 and my thoughts were incredible on them both. The serpent buggy ran incredible today during a live video, you're gonna love it. The stock tires have insane grip and traction, motors runs cool and consistent.
This car is a masterpiece. It handles like a glove. You gotta love the characteristics of a nitro.

Just sold my gt2 last week. I sadly never had somewhere nice to open the throttle up. So it sat as a shelf queen. Cool video.
It was one of the first nitro cars with the 2speed and the GXR28 engine that I bought about 10 years ago and still have it she's a beast🤝
That body is very scale with the headlights.
Love a new nitro…. Don’t just plug it in and tear up your lawn. You admire it and spend 2 days getting it ready then another day before you feel why spent 5 to 6 to 7 hundred the excitement isn’t over in 20 minutes after you get it home
This nitro is awesome! I am normally not an on-road car guy, but the dodge demon body looks so good that I really want one now haha (my other 2 body choices would be the Ferrari 458 Italia, or the timeless Mclaren f1 - when they were still available)
Also if you dropped a modded Novarossi on-road engine and some tall gearing, you may be able to get it to 100 MPH! That would be truly sickening!
I also spotted a really awesome Schumacher manic twin .36 for sale near me, and I am super tempted!!!
hey my dude! Let me just say I'm happy this car is in stock right now, it was on backorder for a very long time and I though it was discontinued, so this is good news. Unfortunately the DODGE model seems to be discontinued and it was the only running video from Kyosho I was able to find.
Anyways, this one isn't mine but I was lucky enough to be there for the unboxing. How much they want for the Schumacher? probably a fortune, well if it's local it might be reasonable, that would be EPIC!! People love twin nitro setups..
@@hybrid32494 They want 300 bucks for the schumacer and a hpi rs4.. both in fairly good condition. Pretty sure the guy has no idea what he is selling lol

@@hybrid32494 Thanks bro, I am gonna see if they are still available, but I am not sure of the condition of the motors, as the guy seems to not be that knowledgeable... If I had more spare cash and time then this would probably be a project I would take on headfirst!
Also very scared about the availability of spares for this truck. I don't think it will sell fast (it is a very poor advert and there aren't many nitro guys where I live), so maybe I can come back to it when the time and money are more plentiful haha

hey my dude! how you doing! Yes, these models are great and really the last brand name nitro RTR on-road style car there is, other than the Hobao Hyper VT. I just ran this one yesterday, the 2-speed was terrific and shifted well straight out of the box and handling was awesome also.

I didn’t know the closer the throttle is to 90 degrees it gives better response to throttle inputs. And also close better

What's up hybrid! I can't wait too see the break in and tune of the kyosho AMG. It's one mean looking nitro. Could it be faster than the jato once tuned?
hey brother! The first start and break in video will be out this or next week for sure, it's in the works right now. These models are great for speed run cars and can be made to hit 100 and still handle well. Long ago, this style of 1/8 on-road buggy chassis was used to build speed run cars and this was way before the Jato was even on the market, when I first got into the hobby.
I got the same car but with the other body I have the inferno GT2 race spec got it cheap 200 bucks a couple years ago The engine mount screws are stripped he was going to
Convert it to electric but I saved it once a nitro always a nitro I also have a spare body that I got cheap when they discontinued it think it was like 50 bucks for the nitro and double that for the electric version

Is that 70mph or kilometers per hr
hey man ,that is 70 KPH. Pretty much there isn't a single nitro that can do 70 MPH in the RTR form at this point. The jato would be the fastest, but that would still be under 70.

hey bro! yes, there is an electric VE model of this same exact car. I highly advise against conversions, it will cost you more in the end, just get the electric model if thats what you want, you know! That way you could buy more stuff, lol..
