Proper installation of Cessna seat belts (to the floor tab.)

I often see seat belts installed incorrectly, causing interference with the lower seat frame. This quick video shows the proper way to install them.

As a general rule, in aircraft maintenance including overhaul as well as routine maintenance, the bolt is never rotated except by hand to assist in engaging the first thread of the nut. This is because it is possible during the rotation of the bolt rather than the nut, to score circumferentially the shank of the bolt and so inflict a stress riser. In the case of cap bolts this rule cannot be complied with.
