Thevarams are devotional hymns sung in praise of Shiva by the 3 Nayanmars: Sambandar, Thirunavukkarasar and Sundarar. This thevaram "Thodudaiya seviyan" is sung by Thiruganasambandhar at the age of three, Sambandar was taken to a temple, where Shiva and Parvati had appeared before him. After a while, the child’s father noticed drops of milk on his lips. it is said that he was fed the milk of wisdom by goddess Parvathi herself. When asked about it, the child broke into a song - Thodudaiya Seviyan.
Sooryanarayanan has fortunate to sing the same song at the age of 8 🙂.

His earrings were alluring, He rode a mighty bull,
Crowned with the crescent moon, He came towards me
Kaadudaiya sudalai podi poosi yen ullangkavar kalvan-
His body smeared with ashes from the cremation grounds,
He stole my heart, never to return it!
Yedudaiya malaraan munai naat paninthaetha arul seidha-
The very source of creation seeks His grace and blessing
Peedudaiya piramaapuram maeviya pemmaan ivan andre-
The one who resides in the celebrated town of Piramapuram
Is indeed that Glorious Being!
