    Which of the three parks at Universal Orlando is your favorite and why?!

    • @laststopformadness
      @laststopformadness Před 2 lety +1

      My favorite is Universal Studios and that is because of the ride ET,The live show Marilyn & the Diamond Bellas,The Blues Brothers Show, and let's not forget Universal Orlando's Horror Make-Up Show and so much more. That is the reason why it is favorite park.

    Another inciteful video! We always buy annual passes because we visit the parks for 7 days per trip on average. It was YOU GUYS that woke me to the fact that only one of us needs the "non-minimum" pass to receive the merch, food & bev discounts. From now on, we'll be buying one green and one blue pass. Sure, there are some blackout dates. And we avoid these busy times anyway. On our last trip of 8 days, we stayed completely on-property and ate everything at 10% off. Thanks again for your suggestion! Wise economics!

    Just saying if you live near the south you need to get the annual pass. If your planning a trip get the annual pass also this means you can go to universal more then you planned and it probably cost less then getting different tickets for each trip so recommend the annual pass and you can go whenever you want! Also another really helpful good video you guys are great keep up the great work

    I think the annual pass is the best regardless of which one you get. My family only planned on getting a 3- day pass but we said what the heck let’s get an annual pass instead and it was a great decision. After you go around 4 times it basically pays for its self. Especially if you live in Florida because it is not to far of a drive for most people. The blockout dates to throw a curveball in the plan unless you get the preferred or premier pass. I found that going on long weekends is best, because of the smaller crowds than the holidays and you don’t miss school or work.

    • @ThePughTwo
      @ThePughTwo  Před 2 lety

      We think the annual passes make sense for almost everyone! We always suggest them when people ask us for advice. They really do pay for themselves pretty quickly, especially if you get that hotel discount! It sounds like you’ve been making the most out of yours!

    They were having a promotion last month when we booked, and it’s a 3-park unlimited ticket so we get to enjoy all three parks everyday for 14 consecutive days!!! I’m not sure how much it costs since we bundled everything into a a vacation package, but we are also staying at dockside so I think we got a great deal for everything!!! We are going Jan 9th-15th! Super excited :) your videos have helped so much!

    • @ThePughTwo
      @ThePughTwo  Před 2 lety +1

      How exciting! We believe the unlimited tickets are only available when purchasing vacation packages since they’re not advertised when you go to purchase tickets individually. They’re a much better deal than the 5 day ticket, but you should consider an annual pass next time! On top of unlimited access to the parks, they come with a discount on the hotels! (When the discount is available) It can be a great way to save some money, especially when you’re staying so long!

      So they typically release them between 30 and 90 days prior to the dates. If you’re seeing any passholder rates available at all, that means they’ve released them and that’s all that’s left. If you’re looking in March, that’s one of the busier times of the year and several of the hotels are completely booked by now.

      Each individual will have to have a park to park ticket and an express pass! They will not let you join a friend or family member unless you also have the same perks with your tickets!

    Can't wait to go in Oct. I don't eat in the parks which saves me money and I already have the shirt I want and I don't want anymore suveniers. If you live in FL then why wouldn't you be a FL residence?

      @ThePughTwo  Před 2 lety

      You can definitely save some money that way! We were saying that if you live in Florida, you’re probably already aware of the discount for Florida residents! We would assume those people are using that discount, but wanted to let people know it exists in case they didn’t know!

    • @ThePughTwo
      @ThePughTwo  Před 2 lety

      That’s a hard question to answer! We have annual passes and visit the parks 6+ times per year, so we obviously feel like there’s enough to keep you busy for that long, but we’ve also never been that many days in a row. If you that, we would suggest getting the 3 park pass so that you have VB to enjoy as well. You could also look at 1-2 day tickets for some of the other parks like SeaWorld or Busch Gardens that are a lot cheaper than Disney, just to break things up!

      Hi Magi! You can absolutely get insurance with a vacation package to Universal, but we're not sure if you can get it on just a ticket. That would definitely be a Universal question. Regardless, we're sure they would let you change dates on your tickets if you were unable to travel on your dates. We hope you do get to visit the parks!!

      Hi Charlotte! If you’re wanting to visit both parks in one day you’ll need a park to park ticket! HHN is a separately ticketed event that only happens in Universal Studios. You’ll have to buy tickets for that event as well. You can do all of this on Universal’s website or on the mobile app!

If you’re staying on site, you can actually pick them up in your hotel lobby which is much easier!

    Be careful about Florida resident discount. Each ticket holder 18 and older must prove it. If using a utility bill or lease, each name benefitting discount must be listed and you’ll need approved photo ID to prove ticket holder is in fact the name on the utility bill or lease. Sounds redundant but passports do not prove an address and some residents carry out of state driver’s licenses. Don’t try to let one resident w fl license get tickets for other adults who lack Universal approved evidence, they’ll be directed back to ticket windows to buy a reg priced ticket. Minors entering without adult fl residents ought to take phone photos of easy to understand Florida school enrollment proof plus photo ID. Latter isn’t so common since local minors usually have AP’s. Read the Universal website fine print is best way not to be refused entry.
