Scaling up minis/models and turning them into gold/silver leaf statues is such a pro tip. So good for adding that "regal" ambience that really adds a sense of scale in any scatter room as well.

Sometimes I just see a toy, or some kind of packing material and think "I'm going to build something with that." I have no idea what, but I just grab it and start brain storming. It can be a very creativly liberating exercise. Also 100% love the terrain for Idols of Torment. Some of my favorite builds you have done.

I think my favorite thing about terrain for Idols of Torment is that every player will have their own particular style for making something alien, their own vision of heaven and hell, so you'll likely wind up with very distinct terrain from every crafter, making it feel almost like a game of Planescape with each army having their own domain.

    Hey Jeremy
I am 6 minutes (ish) into your most recent video, and felt I had to pause and comment.
First off I love the floating terrain, totally going to be trying that so thanks. Second you made a comment about having occasionally gone to far when crafting terrain, nonsense I say! I love the way you push at the boundaries of your craft it is what has inspired me to start to dabble in the craft myself. I have watched all of your videos over the last two years (I've gone back and binged a lot of your earlier videos as well), when you "go to far" or have had a result you are not entirely happy with (your mini in the sewer pipe comes to mind) I haven't seen you go to far or fail I have seen you try and push the envelope and maybe demonstrate that you can get satisfaction out of a piece that went wrong on you. Keep crafting, and thank you for being you!!!
Cheers from a fellow resident of the 'Peg

This is how I craft lol I have been working on a diorama type thing for literally months b/c I'm just taking my time, waiting for supplies to come in the mail, finding cool stuff to add, changing my mind mid way, etc. I'm almost done (I think) and it's just some forest ruin and a cave. I'm just making it for fun b/c I can. This is supposed to be a fun craft, not a stress inducing hobby. This turned out cool by the way! I like bases because they clearly define the line where terrain effects are. I've started saving the cardboard plates that come with pizzas.
Also have you used any texture spray? You can get it from WM, HD, lowes, ect. You have to MOG pudje it first, but it can cover a lot of space in a little time.

"What I do have is confidence and a lack of fear to just try things."

Coming into a project with only a rough idea of a plan can let your imagination run wild. That's not to say there won't be bumps in the road, but sometimes it's just nice to approach a piece with no idea what the results are going to be.
