Welcome to the world of Rockstars and Royalty. I’m Vicky. I have worked as a couture gown, corset and costume designer for over 20 years, initially under my label 'Devotion' in the UK, then as 'Rockstars and Royalty' when I moved to Australia in 2007. During this time I’ve become know for my elaborate couture gowns and costumes, my corsetry skills, my love of sparkles and embellishments, and for making my clients feel like Queens.
In my videos and tutorials I show you how I design and create the extravagant couture gowns, corsets and costumes that I've become known for, how I upcycle and style vintage and pre-loved clothes, and how I create accessories, hair, and make up to style and complete the looks.

I'm testing this corset pattern at the minute and will be turning it into a digital pattern that will be available to buy on my website. I'll film a corset-making series to go with it. Would you also be interested in being able to buy supplies direct from me (steel boning, busks, lace, crystals etc)?
buying supplies from you would be great :)
You're a true pro! I love doing my nails but who cares about pretty nails when you have two left hands? I would give up my nail polish in a heartbeat to sew as good as you!
You do beautiful work!!
I LOVE THIS OUTFIT
Lovely. And to those who whinge about your hands... they should be so lucky to have as talented hands as yours are.
Thank you! 😊
So glad you are back! This is gorgeous! Please don't worry about your hands. I just can't believe some people and the audacity they have to criticize others! You are doing a great job, trying to make a living and it doesn't matter if you don't want to spend a fortune on doing your nails. Please take care and have a happy holiday season!
Thank you so much. There's so very unpleasant people on CZcams but a least I can block them!
I'm just getting the hang of putting rhinestones on my daughter's figure skating costumes. I'll try putting on appliques soon. Your videos are very, very helpful. Thank you for all of your tips and instructions.
You are very talented ❤️
Another fantastic, informative and well presented video! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic... as usual.
I can’t wait to see the chiffon skirt with it!
Gorgeous, I can't wait for the next one. You are right to leave your hands alone. These blogs sometimes make me wish that I was not retired.
Birdy
Thank you so much!
Absolutely gorgeous! I luv seeing you work and explain your process
Beautiful just lovely
Gahh! My inner magpie is swooning!!!!
Where did you get that E6000 glue in that kind of container? I have never seen the glue in that type of packaging where it goes on so easily. I have to squirt the glue in syringes so I can make small, controlled dots of glue on the fabric.
It's E6000 fabri-fuse. I sell it on my website 🙂 Google should bring up a supplier near you too. rockstarsroyalty.com/collections/adhesives/products/e6000-fabri-fuse
Where do you get the crystals from?
Ooh I’ll get the pattern if it comes in plus sizes
The pattern will be from 20" to 30" corseted waist sizes to begin with, but I'll make a video showing you how to alter the size to suit your measurements if you need to, and I'll hopefully add more sizes later once I get a chance to grade it further test out the sizes.
I'm the same way with my hands, I'm hands on everything. Lol. Even working on the truck. If you get a gel polish, they are fast and once set is great.. lasts a long time. Though I grew up sewing, crocheting etc... i became a cosmetologist then later college. Cleaning homes on the side helped with great cash.
I'm not condemning you... I swear. I just thought if you ever chose to put on polish.... I noticed lacquer polishes wore off fast, chipping etc..
I found i had to use a lotion that was natural... Shae Moisture BABY is awesome. It naturally has a antibacterial too... if you put some in an old bottle and delute a tad, then add a tad of alcohol. .. you'd have a way way better antibacterial then the one's you purchase that's specific for that.
Walmart carries the moisturizer in the kids dept. No chemicals and fillers plus help heal booboos fast.
But i swear, im the only girl of 6 kids, 2nd youngest... i grew up working on motorcycles and my dads GTO... then auctions to dealerships.
Lol... I started off similar as ..My Cousin Vinny .
🙃😜🤣
Merry Christmas, Stay safe ....

I think all nail polish, even gel polish, just annoys me now! I'll stick to the natural look. Thanks for the lotion recommendation. I love Lush hand creams and their dream cream because they're all natural.
@@RockstarsandRoyalty Merry Christmas to you too.... 💋☃️❄🎁🤶🎅🎄💋
It was perfect until the pink stones arrived :(
