Thanks for the intel. I Replaced a Leaky Second water meter that was also used for irrigation. everything works fine except it does not send the reading info to the transmitter. is there an extra step?
The last step is connecting the wires to the transponder and by me the municipality comes out and does that so unfortunately don't have much info for that
For my area it's not required. I install these for irrigation systems and by code irrigation systems need an rpz. But I would check with your municipality
I'm averaging $1400 all in. Depends a lot on permit pricing and if you have to buy the meter from the village. One village charges $900 for a meter which is ridiculous
Depends on the municipality. The town required it before the house meter and they get a separate bill for just water. Other towns want it after the house meter and deduct sewer charges on that amount of water used.

@@dave_adamson Thank you
What kind of glue did you use for fitting?
No glue. Propress fittings. I did use thread paste on the threaded parts
Hi, is it required to install the Backflow for auxiliary meter?
Thanks

Yes.
What could a person expect to spend to add a second meter? My town allows this option and I’ve been wanting to have one installed. Thx!

Where do you install a sub Meter in the house?
