I've really been enjoying these, I always wonder about the super cheap guitars. If this is really the last one, I think you should go the other way with it and do a "most expensive guitars on Amazon" series 👀
I bought an Earl slick sl50 Barnwood caster. After a bunch of fretwork and a Amazon five star locking tuner upgrade coupled with a mojotone pot and switch the guitar ended up being awesome. But most important of all it had a stable neck.
You are doing a great job on these. That`s my only gripe of mail order guitars. Some are way better than others. I got a CNZ mini bass and my friends (and I) are totally amazed at this thing. My Fenders are going and I`m keeping the cheap one.
Isn't it the amp that makes it sound not that bad? People buying really cheap guitars are usually running them through even cheaper amps, in which case it's just an all-around sad sound? 🤷♀️😂😂
I see this as a guitar to learn your own tune-ups, mods, such as paint/finish work, especially modding the fredges, even doing full blown rebuilds on, kind of like a crash-test dummy. If you hack it up, order another one and start over 😂
A decent neck and body for a modder is easily work the $92CAD. The red finish looks good, too. So, ya, if you wanna mod, there it is.BTW, the "tuty" in Btuty is silent.

I know you hate the cheap guitar series, But genuinely its my favorite from the guitar youtubers across the board. I had my eye on the IYV brand on amazon but they dont have the hollowbody tele I was looking at with p90s. You can find some on the used market for a lil over double their amazon cost

I never knew I needed a guitar with delicate texture till I saw this vid, the plastic piano pillow is just an added bonus. All that with great fredgework for under $100 US. Please, take my money, please, kick me in the balls to jumpstart my mente.
It looks surprisingly good. Maybe the fretboard is made from something like Richlite. I would have liked to have seen it played after a setup and new strings.
About a month ago. I bought an Epiphone Les Paul special 100. Used. Guy had it as a wall hanger. Paid $50. Guitar is like new. Lightweight. And the humbuckers sound good. It has good sustain. I was pleasantly surprised. It's my practice guitar. Of course it was. Made in China. For that price I don't care. 😂😂 👍👋💯🎸🎸
I think that guitar would have been an absolute winner if they would have wound the pickups to 6000 …instead of cutting corners at 5000…damn, they were so close 😳
Is this deja vu or is this another amazon guitar? Maybe it's both!!! Or is this like dragonball where the cheapness just keeps powering up??? I actually kinda like how this one looks, but it seems like there's a lot to choose from for cheap HSS strats these days. Btw, wouldn't "best quality" be better than "better quality"??? It's made from some Canadian materials (maybe?) - that should at least deserve a superlative... maybe that's the next evolution/power up!!!!
I get a little tired of the ESL jokes. On one hand, there is really no excuse for them to make so many mistakes. But point it out, and move on. I'm a bit worried about copper alloy frets. Is that real? I think it looks really good. Maybe a good candidate for slide?
Its almost like your a glutton for punishment. You know it won't end well yet you put yourself through it. Good to buy if your like Pete Townsend and Jimi Hendrix treated their guitars
@@landonbailey Cheap Glarrys are better, not as flashy but can easily be modified to be better. With all these bottom of the barrel electric guitars there is a huge element of luck of the draw.
I hope "crimping button" and "plastic piano pillow" become industry-standard terminology

I always swap out my plastic piano pillow for an organic alloy one for better ringy slaps, ymmv...
On Amazon it says it comes with a stainless steel strap. That is worth the price all by itself.

I hit the Indios from monoprice when they were $50 -$70 shipped with a gigbag.
All my friends are getting guitars whether they want them or not.

Today I was two way cheaper ones from the same company I believe. One for $69 and one for $65.

I've found cheap trem guitars easier to set up than cheap hardtails. You can get the strings stretched far easier with a trem than a hardtail.

I haven't done the Indio but I did have a California Classic Stratocaster clone from Monoprice. there's videos back around 2016
