Современная техника делается в огромных масштабах и если в начале войны её почти не было видно, то сейчас её показывают всё чаще. Нефтеперерабатывающие заводы это собственность не России, а частных компаний которые и несут убытки. Набор людей из других стран это хорошо, потому что твои граждане не будут умирать на войне. It's nowhere close to 400k Kia. It's more like 50k tops. Maybe 150k total casualties
This is the first war that has shown the average person what the horrors of war are really like on our computers and smartphones.
It's not the same as the old war reels and documentaries of yesteryear.
Not the first war, but yeah. First one everybody finds valuable. You can watch about 12 years of war previous to this one if you know where to look.

@Cityb0y85 did some time in Angola and Namibia in the 80s South African defence force. What people can do to each other is horrible. Noise smells and fear no matter who you are if you not afraid you a liar or never been there. It's fear and adrenaline that is frightening and exhilarating but you make a mistake or unlucky you gone. If you are a soldier you have to understand you can die accepting that is the part you have to accept

I spent 12 years in Army Aviation. Over the years lots of people have said the training process is disrespectful from day one.. The whole drive up to basic in a bus (Always in the middle of the night for some reason lol) and a DI starts yelling and keeps yelling for 10 weeks.
Why all the yelling? 1:05 That's why. War..... WAR IS LOUD... If you want someone to hear you you'd better be yelling which is why Basic is FULL of yelling from the start. LOL
Good teamwork in that trench. He owes that guy a beer although while diving away from the nade he almost dove into a spray of friendly fire.. That's war....
I imagine the ability to comunicate clearly and concisely when under fire is a necessity.
