  • In this video I go over the steps on how to change the blower motor resistor (fan speed) and save yourself money by doing it at home. Truck in the video is a 2014 Ford F-150. Same procedure if you don’t have the dual climate control.

It's amazing that the transistor you got actually worked temporarily. Most are bad brand new out of the box. I got 3 bad transistors in a row from bonerzone for a 2014 f150. Put a motorcraft one in and it's all good.

I have a question. So a while back my blower motor stopped working so I unplugged it and plugged it back in and work fine for atleast a year. Came up north started blowing hot air on passenger side and cold air on my side. Now it’s not blowing at all? What would you suggest? 2013 f150 lariat

I have a 2013 expedition. My AC blower wouldn’t work I replaced the resistor. I noticed that it took several seconds once turning the AC on before the blower started blowing. Something seemed a little off. A year later the blower stopped working again. I replaced the resistor again, and this time the fan blower motor, it works great. So when you replace the resistor replace the blower motor. The third screw on the motor in the back is a pain in the butt to get off. I recommend a small skinny person do the job.

It’s hilarious to watch these videos and hear how easy it is to remove two simple bolts. However you never see one of these guys actually remove the part. The space behind the glove box is limited. The bolts are not easy to get at and you have very limited space. Not to mention several other wire harnesses. It’s real simple just 2 bolts my friend!!
