    This issue is that most people vastly underestimate how hard it is for an untrained person to defend a takedown by even someone with a couple years of high school wrestling experience, let alone an NCAA all-American and Olympian wrestler like DC. And all someone like DC would need to do is just get a hold of Tyson before it’s game over. People also don’t know how hard it is to punch someone effectively as they’re dragging you to the ground.

    • @fiercedonkey4556
      @fiercedonkey4556 Před 2 lety +30

      For real. Look at some of the grappling experience of the fighters DC has ragdolled before. Dan Henderson, Josh Barnett, Alexander Gustafson (kinda), Anderson Silva, Anthony Johnson. All of these guys have grappling experience at the highest level either in wrestling, BJJ, or MMA in general and DC was either able to pick them up and slam them with ease or just completely wet blanket them. How would Mike Tyson, someone whose never grappled on the mat a day in his life, fair any better than those guys did. Not to mention, DC is an absolute unit in the clinch. If they clinched up, DC would absolutely manhandle Mike Tyson.

    • @thehater6189

      Dc is not an elite level wrestler the way tyson is an elite level boxer. Maybe if it was prime angle or snyder or karelin this would make a modicum of sense. Tyson is stronger than cormier and anyone cormier has ever competed against by a significant margin. If you saw prime mike, it wouldnt even be a debate. Cormier was getting destroyed by a part time firefighter while tyson was breaking jaws in his prime. Theyre barely the same species lol. Mike by ko in 8 seconds

      @@thehater6189 The level of boxer versus the level of wrestler is completely beside the point. The point is that even a lower level amateur wrestler can easily take down the highest level boxer. But DC was an elite wrestler who competed at the highest level. I dont see people saying LeBron wins in olympic put shot but they say he would be a beast in mma. Even boxers constantly fall into the clinch when they fight. Even as a world class boxer I'd feel like I need to learn some wrestling

      It’s much more than sunwrestling. You both failed to realize it’s not just a double or single. It’s an entire fighting style that’s thousands of years old. Even by some miracle if he were to stop a double or single Daniel would just teleport to the back or chain wrestle.
