My biggest gripe with the game was that every suit was exactly the same save for different element or better damage of a type. Exact same skills, weapons, everything.
I got this game a couple of months ago for about $20, and that is with the expansion pack included. Btw you hit every complaint i had with this game. Needless to say, I'm so glad i didn't shell out full price for this.
I wish someone would REALLY investigate why this game didn't have all the accoutrements it deserved. There has to be a story behind how it failed. It has so much potential to be something great and then it just falls flat. Like it wasn't complete and they rushed it. Story (lack therof) everything. I still play it and i am mystified as to why they would let something like this release the way it was...
The Godfall failed because it was sponsored as a next gen game by AMD and not by Nvidia. Also Godfall didn't had Keanu Reeves inside as the Cyberpunk 2077 had. Also Godfall reviewed by noobs who they don't have any idea about this type of games. In looter games you can't have an opinion and criticize with only 5 hours of playing. In games like Godfall you don't go for the story. In games like this you go for it's combat, the loot and to make your character as much strong is possible... so of course the story is going to be poor in games like this. Pretty much this is the story behind of Godfall failure or at least my opinion
You are right Godfall has so much potential, with a little reworking it could really be amazing. I play on a huge C3 OLED and PS5 and i personally Love Godfall
I was considering jumping back into the game after seeing it got a somewhat good update but yet i noticed the main thing that turned me away from did not get changed. The valorplates still dont have any unique skills or abilities, theres no new weapon classes, theres only 3 finishers, there's no mini map, etc. I won't be playing until it gets a real update that makes it what it should be.

Agreed. Nothing made them unique except for just being a specific stat boost.
No the suits are drastically different u clearly don't understand rpg mechanics or looked deep enough

$20 is very good. I feel bad about saying this, but this game is not worth the full price tag
