As always, thanks for watching. - Zábava
Always a joy to watch as you run a session on your amazing layout.
Thank you!
The sound adds that extra realism.
As soon as I heard the diesel, I realized that it sounds remarkably similar to a Model T Ford.
My dad was a mechanic who had worked on Model-Ts as a young man. In the 1960s one pulled into the service station where he worked. He heard it, and knew exactly what it was before catching a glimpse!
This episode triggered a nice memory, Lewis! As always, I marvel at your creation of a time and place in miniature!
Simply fantastic, you can see that it was made with a lot of skill and passion. Huge compliment!
Thank you 👍🏻
Excellent scenics. Amazingly realistic.
Thank you 👍🏻
Watching steam locos work their way through your layout is one of life's pleasures. But if their monopoly is to be challenged, then what better to do it than a green, split headcode, SYP 37 hauling a coal train.
Wonderful as ever. Thank you.
Another great video! Oh, those good old days, they'll never come back. I am always in a sentimental mood after watching your masterpiece.
Thank you!
Love watching your videos. They're like little A Day in The Life stories., and the sound editing is amazing.
Glad you like them, thanks 👍🏻
Brilliant as ever. The blending of steam and diesel. Love it. Nice one.
Thanks David!
Really good with excellent trackside detail. All that's needed is a little white smoke from the engines.
Thank you very much!
Another great update as usual Lewis!!! Many thanks for sharing. Cheers Onno.
Many thanks Onno!
Brilliant railway storytelling as always.
Thanks!
A glorious mixture of diesel and steam. I know a lot of people can tell the class of a loco from the noise of it starting up - I don't count myself in that number! However, that sounded great. Cheers
That 2MT is a really nice model - I remember back in the late 70's Hornby released the first 2MT, which again was a really nice model compared with other models of the day.
A dear old Class 37, complete with a rake of freight. And the steam locomotives are gorgeous!!
Thank you 👍🏻
Beauty !
Thanks!
That is very very good! The scenery and foliage is lovely.
Thanks!
Super. A world class layout with steam and a little thrash and clag. Awesome. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.
Thanks very much 😀
Just superb .Love the 37 .
Thanks David!
Hi. Another great video. Thanks for posting it.
Thanks for watching!
I think this could only possibly be a model railway rather than the real thing!! Whatever, it’s glorious!!
Thanks 😀
Great sounds there, steam and diesel.
Thank you 👍🏻
What a fantastic Layout.
Many thanks!
Another great video Lewis as ever love the 37 sounded awesome great footage many thanks a t b syd👍

Excellent job on sounds! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 👍🏻
Great train action video from Lewis yet again .
Thanks!
I'm really impressed how the RR blends in with the scenery and doesn't dominate it. Very realistic!
Thanks!
Very nice Lew looks fantastic loving the diesel
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Can't you just feel the power in those two locos no sound chip can compare to the real to the real thing fantastic a pleasure to watch .
Excellent Lewis, love the view from the top of the hill, great perspective.
Thanks Brian 👍🏻
Yes, I had a big model railway based on Preston in the 1950's. Most locos had to be renumbered to bring them in line with locos which would have reasonably operated in that region. We had four superD's which were renumbered as Preston locos amongst the consist.
Hi Lewis, thanks for posting another enjoyable video. Cheers Greg
Thank you Greg 👍🏻
Fantastic ....... Love the sound
Thanks Paul!
Nice Loco modell and I am always facinated watching the traffic and the excellent landscaping.
Many thanks!
THATS BRILL.... what a great vid... congrats...
Thanks!
It really is a gorgeous railway you have there 😮
Thank you 😀
When my uncle Arkwright first saw a Type 3 he shouted ‘my god that’s ugly!’ But over the years we both grew to like them: no attempt at prettyfication and yet somehow they look right.
He drew the line at the early Sulzer Type 2s. ‘Looks like a warthog after getting drunk on fallen apples in our orchard!’
(We are both agreed on that too.)
Superb! The 37 is magnificent in the scene, sounding wonderful as well.
What’s not like?!
Cheers John b😎
Thanks John!
Thoroughly watchable, for hours 😁 Thanks for all the effort you make 👍
Thanks 😀
As always, another great video...Thanks for sharing your layout with us..
The look and sound of that 37 is better than the real thing!
Ha thanks 😀
I love your class 37 sounds ❤
Thanks 😀
Absolutely brilliant, loved every second, don’t think you can achieve any more realistic appreciation than this.
Thank you 👍🏻
What fantastic aerial shots , really looks so good from above .. it’s nice to see your new locos ,earning there keep with goods movements ,the sounds make it that bit extra .& a real joy to watch ?Keep up the great work Lewis .😊
Thank you!
Interesting, very good layout. I checked where the two locos were shredded in 1960. 78947 was a Bathgate, Scotland engine 64G and D6702 was allocated to Stratford, London 30A.
So I guess they’d have to travel a damn long way to cross paths!
Fantastic feel about your model railway, the sights and sounds are so realistic, I can almost smell it too 😊❤
Thank you very much!
Hi, marvellous video 👍👍
I have looked it twice, and enjoyed the details!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Season greetings from a small village in the middle of the Netherlands,
Wim 🚂
Good to see another video from the old layout. I miss seeing it. Seem to remember it is a long way from your new home to there.
Thank you 👍🏻 It is so I always try to get some footage when I’m down there!
..........sheer escapism ...........................
Indeed 😬
As has been said, a joy to watch. Thank you.
Thanks Alex!
Nice video Mr Mouldy. Love the 37. Mines the same but D1614. 😊
Thanks John! Good choice.
Fabulous
Thanks!
Hi Lewis, what more can I say, brilliant video as usual
Thanks Barry 👍🏻
Thats cool maybe An express passenger train the 37 could haul next crossing paths with a steam railtour train hauled by the manor class
vevry enjoyable good stuff
Thanks 👍🏻
Top weight brilliant.
Thanks 👍🏻
I thought I was seeing things for a moment. A reasonably shiny Standard 2MT Mogul on the run. Only the tender top is weathered. Were the Standard 2MTs somewhat dirtier, in BR Days, or were they kept reasonably clean?
Supervisor 👍
One thing is missing, an old three car diesel DMU ❤❤
Of course I am happy to see a Mogul once again (and the 2MT, a nice little engine fit for every local trains !), but to pair it with an overly british diesel engine as the class 37, it's great ! In my opinion, the only more British diesel possible is the class 40. Just to say...
Thanks Olivier - I agree!
Hi Lewis. Smashing little loco that 2MT nice to see the class 37 out and about. thank you again for a delectable video.
Thanks Tony!
