Beer and Cocktails - the best of both worlds. Cheers!
👍🏻
Everyone's half Irish when they are trying not to be offensive😂😂
Lol, I've got a ridiculously spelt name to prove it 😉
My recipie for Michelada has lime juice, worchestershire sauce, hot sauce, clamato, celery salt, tajin in the glass, and a couple olives. Some versions get REALLY wild, with beef jerky, a TON of olives, oysters, and shrimp.
This man! You have to-have to-have to- have clamato. And the worchestershire sauce too, dont be scared to try it the proper way.
Topping classic strong/sour/sweet cocktails (as you would top them with soda water) with German style wheat beer like Hefeweizen works really well!
For instance : shake 5cl London dry gin, 3cl lime juice and 2cl simple syrup and strain in a highball. Top with beer as specified above and garnish with lime wedge
Sounds good
"Coupe shtout" haha ;)
We tried.... :(
Some really good cocktails and some good Beers too. There is something about relaxing with a good beer.
Theres nothing I prefer doing :-)
I actually LOVE the anything else and am so happy to see it mentioned. My brother liked it so much that he keeps campari on hand just for that drink.
One we love in the US is a flaming Dr. Pepper - 1.5 oz disaronno with a float of bacardi 151, light on fire and drop the shot in half a lager, drink it fast enough and it tastes like Dr. Pepper!! Cheers for the video!
How does it taste when it comes back up? 🥴
Simple, practical cocktails. great for home bars.
Thank you 🙏🏼
These look like a lot of fun... maybe upcoming episodes could feature Amaro(i) driven cocktails.... Monte's, fernet, cynar, suze, disarrano... plenty to play with...
Great quality video !
Thank you 🙏🏼
Here in Texas, most Micheladas I see have a small bit of Clamato or tomato juice in addition to the lime and hot sauce, and sometimes toss the salt and chili powder in the glass too. It gives it a reddish-orange hue and it's my preferred way to drink them. However, versions of the drink are totally numerous, so folks should drink it the way they like it.
Great episode, my friend. Looking forward to the next one!
And worchester is a must, adds bit of saltish sweetness, making it perfect! 🤤
Great cocktails! Loved the slow motion pour of the spirits. Makes it look even more classy.
Thanks man 🙏🏼
On a hot day a shot of gin in a glass of lip puckering sour beer is damn refreshing.
I work at a brewery and love to make beer cocktails. Great video.
The outtakes were so funny I spit my coffee all over my work. Hahahahha.
Goose Island! Chicago! Represent!
Edit: love the bloopers being included - it sort of breaks down the fourth wall and puts me in your basement bar.
Your Worcestershire blend from the Bloody Mary video would make an amazing Michelada!
Great video. Haven't made many beer cocktails, so these are great to keep in mind. Cheers!
Noticed beer cocktails coming back into fashion over lockdown! Production quality on these videos is so high, great watch!
I love Goose island IPA I've actually been to their brewery a couple times. These are great beer cocktails I love doing this style of cocktail with Blue Moon, and stouts of course.
It’s getting quite popular in the UK. Love the stuff 🍻
Another quality video Ruairi, the visuals are always so satisfying, keep it up!
Thank you 🙏🏼
love the blooper reel. made my day
check out famous russian beer cocktail, called "yorsch" (ruffe fish), it's just a beer with a shot of vodka. It's funny, because of people (students and other young people) drink it to be drunk asap), not fancy drink at all. So you should use cheapest beer and vodka. Not tasty, but it works. Also we have some "yorsch" games. Smth like make a yorsch with a shot of vodka, make big sip, pour vodka, mix, sip, again and again. When it becomes transluscent, pour a beer after sip, when becomes simply beer - repeat (not sure, if anyone could last one whole ring)
I got a hangover just reading this 🥴
@@RuairiGilles i never tried this game, because of it's too heavy for human's liver)) but here is some people say smth like vodka without beer is just a wasted money))
Looks great!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Loved it
Love your videos dude keep it up 👌🏻
Thank you 🙏🏼
Can you please add the drink recipes in the video description
Great stuff mate!
Thank you 🙏🏼
This is on the pregame for when the clubs come back!
The only michelada recipes I tried/seen has tommato juice in them and woschtershire sauce
grnish with celery and you got a great michelada.
Dude the L&P is key...or maggi seasoning. Try it in your next Michelada
Happy to watch a your new video. Always the best. Thank you so much 😊. Why you don’t use oz rather than ml ? Curious to know
He’s in the UK
You forgot the timeless libation ”bomb”/U-boat where you drop a shot glass of something like Jäger/irish cream/whiskey into to a pint of beer. Just make sure that the sum of the parts is worse than drinking them separately. Cheers!
ANYTHING ELSE...AWESOME
It’s a goodun
Have you done Flip on the channel. Flip is this really old drink with spirit, beer and egg all shaken up and heated with a hot poker. Actually I'd watch an entire episode on hearty warm drinks. It's still cold as balls here in the States.
We’ve got a couple of hot drink vids. Check them out 👍🏼
I'm not a beer fan but these look very creative
oh hell yeah brother
👊🏼
I would enjoy a little taste review of each drink, like you would do when trying subscriber cocktails. Maybe what notes come out best or what your personal preferences are.
Great video, as per usual^^.
One question for future videos: Would you consider putting the specs of the drink next to the cocktail or underneath the name for the final shot of each drink (like 2:35 or 3:58 for example)? It makes it easier to remember a recipe, write it down or just take a picture for a visual reference. Especially for drinks with 5+ ingredients and different measurements.
My addition to the list:
The Beer 'n Deer
0.5L Lager or Pilsner
50ml Jägermeister
Sound good? 🥴
Woohoo new vid 🙌
👊🏼
I click on toe's up even before watch co's I know the video is awsome. Hehehsh
🙏🏼
Love your channel! And what are some goooood whiskey NOT from United States and that packs a punch with a smooth finish :)
I know this video is on beer but curious about whiskey right now
This is a bit of a sweeping statement, but go Irish ☘️
Anything else ... like it i try
You mentioned that you entered a beer cocktail into a competition a few years back. I'd be interested to know the specs of that drink.
It wasn't a beer comp, it was a Bacardi comp. Bacardi used to produce a beer called Hatuey back in the day, so I did a cocktail with beer, Bacardi and I think lime and orgeat, served it in a Bacardi Breezer bottle and called it a Hatuey Breezer. It was really tasty, but ahead of its time, lol
Its very hard for me to get any kind of English beer where I'm at, but I am a homebrewer. Any particular brand of English IPA that you recommend that I could possibly clone?
Just get any IPA, open it and leave it until it’s warm and flat 😂😂
Zinedine Zidane is looking good these days.
What type of jiggers do you use? Do they have measurements inside?
I use Cocktail Kingdom Japanese style, 50/25ml and 40/20ml. They’re lined inside at 35, 30, 15 and 10ml 👍🏼
Cherrrs up.. 👍
I forgot about this channel.
I've Based some part's of menu on your vids. (stole). Thx
@@newagepeople that’s what we’re here for 👍🏼
I was trying to get drunk at a family event one night and made the Indian 75- a french 75 but sub the champagne for ipa. Not...horrible.
Sounds legit
Great clip! So two questions, really:
1. Was Snakebite (with/out the cordial) in the previous Beer clip?
2. How many beers were opened in the making of this film? 😅
Answers to your questions...
1. No
2. 807
@@bondrinks lol
I made a mickey ladder once, it was horrible the hot sauce doesnt go well with beer
Salud🍻
For ne, mixing beer with anything else has always been a sin... But this looks good. (except for the corona, its almost a crime to even call that a beer hahaha)
We couldn’t not use a corona, considering 😂
and the tasting?
Kopstoot means headbutt (I’m guessing because it hits hard?)
Your pronunciation was quite off, but it’s a hard one to pronounce by guessing ;)
and if you’re not Dutch 🙄
Looool. Kopstoot must be like kop as you say in eng ‘pot’ and stoot has no “sh” and the o’s are just looooooong oooooooo - stOOOOt - kopstoot (meaning a knockout - kop (head) stoot); Duvel is also not duvELLLL, but Duuuuuuvel (U goes like “Ü” and V and L goes pretty hard, almost skipping E that sits in between).
Put some clamato in that michelada
Disappointed that nobody got the Universal Soldier reference.
What happened to the crazy camel recipe.....
"Kopstoot" would best be pronounced like "cups-tote" - or in the Netherlands we mostly say "Kopstootje" - "cups-tote-yuh", which is a diminutive to make it sound like less alcohol than it actually is... ;)
Also; since I'm Dutch and I don't know or much care what the Belgians do: might I suggest trying a dry hopped lager in combination with a bols genever? That would be my ideal kopstootje. I'm sure you'd love it.
I made a Michelada for the first time in the week. Followed the Diffords Guide recipe with Worcestershire Sauce and Dunkel Dark Lager/Beer. Wouldn’t make it again! Check it out on my Instagram @claks_cocktails 🍺
I think the Worcestershire Sauce is a no no 👍🏼
Proper Job is Cornish not English
Ah, the Island of Cornwall!
When was the referendum?
