Never seen anyone struggle with a work light like this. #The struggle is REAL
This video just saved me! I’m traveling for work and the Blower Motor went out..thanks for the tips and help! Very easy parking lot job and saved me money!
Thank you sooo much..I just learned how to fix my heater after the first minute of this video...
Love the video thanks! This guys definitely a New Yorker! 👍
Great job pal. Love the practicality. Changing the motor on my RV tomorrow.
Awesome sauce!!! I can totally do this! Thanks so much for the video!
Thank you very much for producing the video. I did not know about the resistor. Glad i know now so i don't have to make another trip to the store. Thanks again.
Awesome on point I took it step-by-step everything worked out
Nice video, thanks for the great explanation! I checked mine. I had 12 volts at the blower motor. I saw it had a pig tail so it was a replacement. I checked the resistor and it was a bad connection so I had to replace it and the connector end. I have a shuttle bus with the van cab. I was lucky because there was no battery in the way. The battery is underneath rear passenger side of the bus. I put resister and new harness end on and found fan motor would only run if I hit it hard with a pair of pliers. I have ordered a new blower motor. Thanks!
Thanks for watching I'm happy to help
Exactly what I was looking for in this video. Thank you so much for your help!
Glad it was helpful!
@@bayviewautorepair when you put the part back in I couldn't see what you did. How you get past that black tube that goes over the top of the battery? I'm having trouble squeezing my new part into the slot.
Thank you. Hard to find videos for my 2001 E450.
Well done and thanks. Exactly what I needed to know.
2013 E-250 -- Everything was identical except mine absolutely was not coming out until I removed the two bolts securing the receiver/dryer and with that loose it came out OK. Thanks
Good stuff, thanks for this
Thanks now I can fix mine , first day off
Thank you for the video sir I need it is 👏
Awesome job! we'll explained thanks a lot!🐇😀😎
Great video
Awesome , thank you for taking the time to explain all details and posting this video ,
Glad it was helpful!
I have a same problem by check the fan by connecting couple wires from the fan wire to the battery directly the fan is working so I don't know what's my next steps
Question. My rear vents bloe air but no heat. My front vents do not blow any air. Are there two heater motors, one for rear and one for front?
I have a 03 ford f150 lariat with the automatic climate control I just changed the heater resistor a blower relay under the dash I checked the blower plug with a test light and no power to the plug
where is the resistor for the back fan motor?
I'll have to check out my friend's van about this. I would have cleaned the battery first before putting it back in the van. Shouldn't there have been some sealant between the blower motor and the housing with the new one ?
So you need to leave this critique in the comment section? A simple "thank you" would be appropriate.
please send me your tester model#
looks interesting , Thanks
why did you not check the relay , isnt it in the dash ,and so when tracing power, its fuse box fuse , relay , motor , right . or am i missing something
in my case, there is 12V on the connector so I took the blower out and it was tested good with 12V. Why?
Just replaced the blower motor on my ‘97 e250. Worked the first time I drove it. Now, not. I guess I need to replace the resistor. Oh well. Not a big job.
The blower still works. Just no speeds.
I have a issue w my e350 all my dash lights and radio cut off randomly. Any video on this issue?
Dash cluster
What size bolts are used for the resistor ?
ebonick22 8mm
Is there an air filter for the blower?
Not on this one. Thanks for watching.
so i replaced motor resistor and my fan motor new still cuts on and off it wiil run for maybe 5 min and then turns off i can turn the control from ac too heat a few times back and forth and then it will come back on for 5min and cut off again any ideas what i need too check on??
Sounds like a connection is bad - check them.
That’s a vacuum issue
@@SteveKurtzJr
How to check that?
What is the cause of fuse blown when turn on ignition switch under sterling fuse box?
I'm doin' it!
Thanks for watching.
Man dude you deserve a better work light, go get you a nice led so you don't burn yourself or the vehicle.
Thanks for watching.
@@bayviewautorepair And thanks for the video!
whats the purpose of the rubber hose? you didnt tell us
To push are into the fan motor to cool it down. Thanks for watching.
Cabin filter is what I was after
Glad I could help!
I have looked at 30 video's
Those harness tend to melt some times.
And one must cut and add new wired
NOT ONE VIDEO COVERED THE HARNESS COLOR SCEEM
FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE LOST WITH MELTED WIRES WHO DONT KNOW WHAT COLORS GOS WERE???
My fan speed switch was fried. I replaced it. Fixed it (-:
How did your switch go out was it all of a sudden or was it on an off and completely not working?
It's not too faah when it's over heeyah.
What if you don’t have power at the blower motor? What would the next step usually be?
Native American check for a vacuum leak. These fords often have issues with that and the symptom is no air blowing through vents when you are under load (stepping on gas). Once you let off the gas, the air pressure returns.
@Native American I have the same problem. My Mechanic told me it was some sort of vacuum leak. I just lost the blower motor completely. Has voltage at the connection so I'm assuming it now has to be replaced too from running all the time. It's too cold outside and my mechanic is booked up. Welcome to Wintertime!
Most common problem is the fan speed switch in the dash. If the fan does not work at all check the blower motor by connecting 12V directly to the +- in the fan terminal. If it comes on then its highly possible its the fan switch. They tend to overload on low and melt. If it operates on high only it the resistor next to the motor under the hood. if it none of these check the 50 amp and 15 amp fuses and relay under the hood and at the fuse panel by the break peddle. you can google the fuse layout for the van. it also has a key on the cover under the hood on the fuse box.
