- Pottery & Vintage Shopping in England// Hi there, First of all, Thank you so so much for all your lovely comments and messages. Joerg and I can't believe how much this channel has grown this past week.
On Saturday we went pottery shopping in Stoke-on-Trent. If you love beautiful English pottery and don't know Burleigh yet, you will fall in love with it. After a visit to the factory shop which can be so dangerous for your purse, we drove into Leek to visit some of the vintage shops there. Leek is on the edge of the Peak District and a real paradise for vintage shopping.

I live in texas u.s.a no longer able to work so I have a bit of time on my hands and so I began looking at youtube. Love your channel. I am an elderly lady who knows now she doesn’t have the energy and strength to walk around those beautiful little villages and quaint antique shops that you walk around for me. Id like to thank you for your posts. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, USA and it is on my "Wish" list to get to Great Britain on day. My ancestors are Irish/Bavarian on my Dad's said and Irish/Swedish on my Mom's. I was so blessed to win a trip to Ireland 2 years ago and I LOVED it oh so much. I never wanted to leave. It's a lovely, rainy fall day here in my part of Ontario, Canada and I'm envying watching you browsing these intriguing shops. Perfect day for it! However, duty calls, down at my Mums' house. I like your husband's brief comments, your unscripted (?!) commentary and the fact that you don't feel the need to talk constantly through the video or be in the video every second. I love tableware!!! I’ve always dressed the table for dinner. I love vintage cutlery too! I would love to visit England.
When I go back to visit in Pennsylvania ,my parents and I love to go antique shopping in Bedford. The shops so remind me of the ones you have there. It is so much fun to treasure hunt! Keep posting your sweet journeys...you are a ray of sunshine!
