ok 10th ranked fatui harbinger video done, next up Ill see what I can find on flowers lol. the only thing I love more then talking about fatui harbingers lore and theories is the sustainer of heavenly principles. this one wasent bad I like talking about the harbingers, while I personally dont care for the crepus theories they are fun to talk about nonetheless. just waiting for my columbina and we gucci. arlecchino I think changes the lore for this quite a bit I reckon. in anycase anyone else see the black swan ult animation voice line. that was tragic lmfao.

Okay, I’m halfway through the video and I want to address the point of Crepus dying because of overuse of his delusion cos idk if you adressed that
From what I’ve heard from the diluc simping community (which i am in!!!) they propose a theory that delusion users need a mask to use their delusions safely. It could be why Diluc has a mask in the comic, and why the other harbingers + fatui members have masks in their design. (Pierro, dottore, Columbia has the weird ass face thing that’s sorta like a mask, Scaramouche has a mask on top of his hat, Sandrone maybe cos robot no need???? Idk or the robot might be the masked one controlling the girl, la Signora had a mask, tart has mask on the Sid elf his head and il captain has cool metal mask) alrecchino and rooster boi no mask tho (as far as I know.) but it would sorta make sense maybe????

We actually know what Dottore use, it was most likely Khemia.
During the Susbedo quest Albedo confirm that when his half digested brother stole his alchemy notes and learn Khemia. He (the brother) then use Khemia to change his appearance to match that of Albedo.
Then the brother use the power of Khemia on one of the weird little flower to create Susbedo as a mean of distraction for Albedo to lower his guard so the brother could go in for the kill.
Now that I say this Khemia really is the better version of Reason isn't it.
For those who are confused here's the ability of the herrscher core of reason:
-Superhuman memory.
-Ability to reconstruct anything that has been thoroughly understood.
Khemia basically 3 up the herrscher core of reason:
-No core ( Khemia is knowledge) so no one can steal it *cough * Bronya *cough * Kevin * cough*
-Can be teach to anyone and everyone who wants to learn it
-Can "Reshape" reality (can change their own form and the form of others)

Because of the fill-in-the-blank feature of the Teyvat fate system, normally you'd predict that when Scaramouche deletes himself the position of 6th harbinger would be filled in by someone or something else. Since it isn't presumably the harbingers are aware that they have a harbinger missing so they skip over the 6th position. This also means they are aware of the samsara shift. However the situation with the 10th seems a little different because the constellation of the 10th (if it exists at all) is missing from the Harbinger wheel. But it's not really clear what is the nature of the source of the harbinger wheel. Is it meant to be something Traveler knows about in-game or not? It's not like the Harbinger wheel changes after Scaramouche disappears.
I used to think the Jester was counted among the harbingers so i never questioned the missing 10th

this system might sound weird but what if you need to challenge peeps to get their rank.
for example if Pantalone challenged Signora in a duel and won then he would become the 8th and Signora 9th but if that person died without anyone challenging them for their position and winning then their seat is left vacant and you need to challenge one higher than them and win to move up in the rankings.
so by this logic current Arlecchino challenged previous one who was also 4th and won which proved that she was stronger than previous 4th so she took their spot immediately.
so if 10th harbringer died without anyone challenging them to take their spot then their seat would be left vacant. if Tartaglia wanted to move higher than he would need to challenge Pantalone and win to take the 9th spot.
this theory is heavily flawed but sounds like a solution with way more layers to make it more solid.

@@motemo8413 Childe in 2.2 was stated to be stronger than us and we defeated Signora. The harbingers ranking atm are not an accurate representation for Childe

if i remember correctly, in the play when pantalone dies dottore exclaims something along the lines of: "OH NO! I CAN NO LONGER DRAIN HIM OF HIS MONEY" out LOUD infront of everyone 😭

I heard a theory that Delusions feed off of delusions. For example Mirror Maidens think the Tsatitsa's power flows throughs them and is pretty strong while Teppei who was hopeful lasted for like a month and got weak each time he saw us and reminded of his power gap so his Delusion fed off his life force.
They do. It's confirmed basically in the delusion drops now.

I think the obvious answer is that the tenth harbiger is (or was) the abyss twin. After all, the only commedia del'larte character trope that hasn't been references yet as a fatui harbinger are the "Innamorati" or the "two lovers". I think this is a signal towards the traveller and their twin. Additionally, these are the only characters in the commedia that do NOT wear masks, like the rest of the characters. The stories of the plays also usually revolve around these lovers and they are always united at the end of the story (which reminds me of another pair we know...). I think this one is obvious, but this game is good at completely proving me wrong, so I'm prepared for that haha
I think some stuff is going on. Yelan's past is pretty much not explained at all in game. She has a cape from Tsaritsa. She is currently doing intelligence work for Liyue it is literally said that she appeared from nowhere. No word about her family her past, what she did before, who she was. She just appears in the Chasm. Oh yeah she is sus alright. I am not saying that she is a Harbinger but she is def not who she says she is. She is unusually strong both in lore and in game not a coincidence.
i forget what exactly but I remember she has some connection with pantalone. I think she stopped a gift that pantalone was planning on gifting to the tsarista.

It is true that many characters are, but in Yelans case you can tell that she is hiding something. Tsaritsa and Zhongli made up a deal shortly after a woman turns up in the Chasm no less. I think she has a bigger part to play in the story it's hard to predict were they are going with her she could work for Lumine.

There is a difference between the delusions used by harbingers and elite fatui soldiers vs the ones that were mass produced in Inazuma to fuel the civil war. The ones harbingers use are specially crafted and awarded by the Tsaritsa herself so are probably are of a higher quality and therefore have zero to minimum set backs when using them, additionally vision wielders are also capable of using delusions as their visions deter away any bad energy that could harm them in the same way we saw with Teppei. The mass produced versions are cheaply made ones that were constructed with an already unstable power source (Tatarigami/Crystal Marrow) and when in the hands of vulnerable people like Teppei then severe repercussions happen which is likely why Crepus also died when using the delusion, him saying the Gods have “other plans” for him is probably in reference to not being a vision wielder.
I suspect the 10th seat is being reserved for the mc or is some wildcard could also be a soon to be resurrected individual
Definitely not not even scaramouche told us anything about the tenth seat and Childe's voice lines about scaramouche have been erased so there is no way lower ranking harbingers would know anything
The person they are resurrecting better be damn strong considering what Dottore is capable of even with his smarts he can't grab the 1st seat so that means Capitano is on an entirely different level from Dottore

I have soo many theories about the 10th seat, each different and quite delusional tbh but my personal fave is that they will force Kaeya to take the vacant seat. I also believe Crepus was a double agent within the Fatui placed by Varka. He once took the training, maybe they fabricated the whole I wasn't accepted by the knights thing to cover up his link with KoF. Fatui deliberately placed a bug on Crepus' carriage to assassinate him, maybe they learnt of his whole secret spy cover and wanted him dead. I also believe Crepus adopted Kaeya knowing his origins and maybe that was his mission to begin with. Idk I am just rambling

My 2c for the 10th Harbinger - it's Collei.
Rationale -
* Dottore is known to experiment on some of the Harbingers (in particular, Scara), and in the Manga infected Collei with a dark power (which is a main antagonist in the Mange).
* Collei appears in a Winter Night's Lazzo. In that, all other Harbingers appear (baring Scara who is AWOL, Signora who is dead), and only Harbingers appear plus Collei, which makes a lot more sense if she is also a Harbinger.
* Collei still notes the dark power being within her (in her trailer, she notes she will never use that power, even if it's life or death).
This could put Collei in a similar position as Kiana was in HI3 after suppressing the Herrscherer of the Void - she has the corrupting power contained and is actively suppressing it.

In German, Dottore says to Niwa "I'm from the Eleven Fatui Harbingers". But back then, scara (nor childe) was with the Fatui yet.
They were still called Eleven.
Which means they are even called Eleven when they are only 5.
It's just the name of the organization.
Pierro prepared Eleven seats but the 10th just never got filled

i do however personally lean towards there simply not being a 10th harbinger, but ya never know.

Yeah the 10th fatui harbinger is father of Diluc. He can use Delusions in manga that's why he die.
Maaaaaybe the delusions given personally by the Tsaritsa drain HER lifeforce, and that's why the Harbingers and Fatui don't suffer much from using them, while the mass-produced delusions from the factory aren't connected to the Tsaritsa, so they use the bearer's lifeforce. If Crepus was ejected from the Fatui for betrayal the Tsaritsa could have severed her connection to his delusion. He may have just kept the delusion in case of emergency, knowing that it would now harm him.

And i think tartaglihag can somehow counter the effects of the delusion simply bcuz of all that abyssal energy, and same for signora her cryo delusion can counter her witchy side, hence they atent really affected...and pantalone straights up does nothing but sit in a bank all day so we definitely cant use him as an example of the delusion taking a toll like on crepus

looking at other people theories out there - what if Crepus delusion was won in battle with 10th harbinger who died in result and that's why Dottore in manga said Diluc's "vision" is interesting?
