Very good video. Based on your presentation and the current recession that is looming, I personally don't think people will go for consumer durables for the next 6-8 months or even more. Many have lost their jobs and will be reluctant to spend more in 2023. I would wait for a few more months and will see how these stocks and their operating margins move on a monthly basis. May be SIp based approach can be recommended at this moment rather than bulk buying.

14:15 Main reason for increase in fixed assets is intangible assets contribution. No recent acquisitions in 2022. So can’t be goodwill etc. May be they have got some patents on their name recently or may be investing heavily on R&D. But these Balance Sheet numbers don’t match with the numbers as visible on other websites such a Moneycontrol. Will have to look at the original copy of FS from their press releases on their website.

Hi Akshat, Great content again. However the video missed out on the competition from the unlisted stocks, I guess? Are they or can they impact the listed stocks too? For example, Whirlpool has competitors like Samsung, Kelvinator, Godrej and they are also major players in the market. Likewise, Voltas has to compete with Samsung, Hitachi, Daikin. Is it not a point to be considered while investing in the consumer durables stocks? Please advise.

It's a very valid point. Amazon is also replicating consumer durables and selling them at very low prices. Only if the public has a good adoption with reputed brands, those companies will profit more. Amazon's washing machines etc aren't that "durable" as compared to the reputed counterparts.

2. Axis mid cap fund - 2000,
