The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

Well, this could be a very good time to make profit from the market. But because it's a frantic period, it's often best you employ the service of a financial advisor. I was up almost 90% during the COVID crash because I was working with one.

  • @rudrapaliwal4912

When everybody expect crash will come it doesn't. It comes in unexpected times. And 10%-15% fall isn't a crash it can come anytime which will lead to panic among retailers but remember think long term. Nifty can touch 50,000 at any point of time in the coming years and then retailers will come again and think about crash so think long term and dont leave stay invested.
And remeber one rule of stock market
"Time in the market beats timing in the market".
And stock market is forward looking it gives price to a stock/economy on the basis of its future earning potential. And obvisouly india has a huge potential and so does the stocks.

Mr. Raghuram Rajan, the great former RBI governor said the same thing when he was dismissed from that position: that it's a bubble that won't sustain. Oh god! I really don't understand why so many people are so stuck on PE? It is not the only indicator. Sometimes, PE is not a good indicator of present performance - market factors future growth early into the price and the price goes up before you actually see the results. PE later adjusts when results are factored.
Similarly, when demand is more, price tends to be more. Simple! There are more buyers in the market after covid, so you cannot expect PEs to be at historical levels.
Leave all that... anything that goes up drastically, is likely to come down at some point. A correction will come st some point, but usually, it never comes when everyone expects it.

Risk is always associated with stock market. The same thing goes for US market too. If look closely the big tech companies especially semiconductor companies and healcare companies stocks prices are way overpriced because of people who are buying their stocks. If you look closely you will see even if companies are not making high revenue still their stock prices are high. But it doesn't means the market will crash drastically. It means it will takr some time to settle in their original price.
The fact is low cap companies and medium cap companies are always a risky investment, but in long term if you have a balanced portfolio then you will 100% make money. In India if you invest wisely you will get atleast 20-25% return every year. Whereas in US you can easily get 12-15%.
So as we all know investments are subjected to market risk, so invest wisely and if you are a long term trader then don't worry you make a lot.

I've totally lost faith in the stock market reflecting anything related to our economy since the March-Jun 2020 COVID lockdown. The country was shut down, nobody left home, shops and factories were shut down, there was no transport, no retail, not much import or export as air and shipping was also locked down. In that situation, the stock market was still doing well, except for the one bad month of April 2020. It even recovered to 2019 levels by August 2020. In the COVID delta wave the next year, there was another lockdown and millions of Indians died. The stock market was soaring in 2021.
Is the stock market connected to the economy?

No. Now, I know that some people make their living off only the stock market. So do day labourers in construction and god know how many crores of jobs. Was it ethical to stop all that? My original point is that the stock market is a rich people's bubble and not really connected to the economy. The point stands, IMO. Ethics are relative. Ask one of the 60 crore people lowest income earners in India and they might have a different opinion about right and wrong on this question. USA is suffering all kinds of madness due to shareholder rights being given priority over everything else. Usually high pe represent investors are hopeful that company's earnings are going to rise multiple times.
100/5k listed companies is not bad, these are mostly startups with high earning potential. There are always going to be few outliers. And market will always be high valued in bull run but that doesn't mean you will have a crash after each bull run. Differentiate b/w correction and crash.

Mohak talked about more then 5000 companies listed in stock market
But only 2266 companies are listed in stock market 😂

First of all you need to learn and get more information about stock market. 2266 companies listed in NSE & 5,309 listed in BSE. Some are delisted. So, currently 6,809 companies listed in stock market but only @ 5,000 companies trading actively. बेटा comments करने से पहले proper study कर लिया करो 🧐🧐

Some people say overvalued then i normally check nifty and sensex pe which still around 24 and after covid crash market went so high index pe went around 35. And most of the crash like 2008 and 2020 happened when index was around 28-29. And market didn't crashed with 4 years gap. Between 2002 to 2007 indian index became 7 times and between market corrected so many times and it normal 10% correction happened. I only see midcap is overvalued right now. Correction is normal but crash won't happen every 2-4 years. Need strong reason for crash.

Nifty 50 pe ratio is around 20-24, which has been the same for the last 15 years.
I don't think it is overvalued; it is fairly valued, in my opinion.
The prices of the stocks have risen in the last 4 years, and so are the earnings of the companies.
so no need to worry :)
