I remember when he scored the winner for QPR in the playoffs. The commentator said 'is that the most important goal you've ever scored '. He replied ' No, I got that one for West Ham '. Legend!!

Obviously nobody likes people who are cocky and arrogant and too much but I think Bobby is JUST about on the right side of that, he's not arrogant he just knows how good he is and there's a big difference I think and rightly so, he was a proper striker!

i went to Ipswich away, one of my favorite West Ham games ever.
Cardiff fan. Bobby Zamora was hated by supporters of every club he faced. But everyone of us wanted him in our team. Top, top striker. Ginge was immense for us though. Gutted when he left but was too good for Cardiff at the time. As for Earnie, still my favourite Cardiff player of all time. By the way, Ginge, remember Alan Cork's song:

I worked for an asbestos company on underground then. And my guvnor was a bit of a lad at arsenal. We went to Highbury that night. After the game I called him. And he said are on the piss. My mate said no guv. Just had a Sol Campbell .
