As for giving Trump the benefit of the doubt and to adopt a wait and see attitude of where his presidency is going: What I've seen so far scares the bejesus out of me. What I don't for the life of me understand is why or how some Trump supporters continue to deny and deflect. But to be honest, I no longer care. My hope is pretty much gone at this point. Only thing I hold onto now is that hopefully, after 4 years and this is all over, we will be able to pick ourselves up and attempt to undo the far reaching damage that I believe will befall our already great country.
