Lexus uses run flat tires that is a bad idea for an expensive so called luxury brand. This is not about the price of the tires it is about the best possible tire that will give the most comfort in the ride. The smoothest ride and the quiet ride. Run flat tires are noisier and an offer a quietest ride. I will not buy a Lexus because of this dumb move in 2022. No spare tire and jack in Lexus’s vehicles. Lexus needs to install Michelin tires in their vehicles with an option for run flat tires for the few that think they will benefit with them or drop them entirely. Let people put their own run flat tires on if they want them.
@@user-ut2vk6vf5l That's your decision. Tires can always be switched out afterwards if you don't like the type of tires that come with the car. Probably cost you $1000 max. Wouldn't be any different than a person who wants run flats and decides not to buy a car because it comes with regular tires.
My question which i never got a clear answer is, can this plug-in hybrid work like regular hybrid as well and if so what is mpg numbers in hybrid mode? Will it be comparable to regular nx350h hybrid?
Likely worse mpg due weight of high voltage battery making it heavier than regular hybrid so best scenario for phevs are mostly city driving and plugging in whenever you can ideally after each trip
@@TEVAssociation Wrong!....the 450h+ "F" Sport ONLY model made Exclusively in Japan, can run on Battery only for 49 miles...can run in Hybred mode and get 89 mpg Yep 89!...And if you wish there is a dedicated switch on the console to switch to charge the on board 120V charge batt FULL Time while you drive. Yes the vehicle is indeed heavier HOWEVER the weight is centered and at the very lowest point so gravity is best / low and with Adaptive Suspension...the vehicle tightens in the turns and softens on the freeway / highway
I had a 2022 NX 450h+ Fsport and a 2024 450h+ Luxury and I can’t stand the Sound System, suspension, how 235/45/20 narrow tires & wheels are for $71k the 2022 & $73k the 2024…Sold the 2022 and Went and trade the 2024 for a Porsche Macan 2023 with Bose sound, 265/45/20 front tires and 295/40/20 on the back, panoramic sunroof, custom orange paint,black interior with all orange stitching and seatbelts and 8Year/80k miles warranty for the same money I paid for the NX 450h+ and the Macan can call itself a REAL SPORT SUV, ohhh and twice faster& that’s why I will NEVER GO BACK TO LEXUS!!! I meant Rav4 XLE 2019 sounds twice better and are not JBL… The NX is extremely overpriced for what it is

(highly suspect) because he says he also bought the 350 Luxury very suspect.....However the BIGGEST dumb thing is to go to have gone to a Vehicle that I owned the Porsche Macan...The biggest Check Your Engine Light....NIGHTMARE I ever owned...it was a 2019 and I lost 30K in Re-Sale yes I had a Warr. however my personal time I can NEVER get back and I was on 7 occasions at the dealer back and fourth and waiting for hours. Although I do NOT believe this marques because he could have only bought the 450h+ "F" Sport in California.....and they are EXTREMELY difficult if not impossible to obtain. He states his Luxury that he bought after the 450H= F Sport ????? (if the 450h+ F was so awful why did he buy another Lexus?????........The Luxuary has the (ML) Mark Levenson Stereo system renowned as the finest sound in the auto industry yet he says he likes the Bose better???................IMO, this persons review is Not credible........😛
@@donaldbanner2185 I did had the 2022 Fsport and got it in Temecula California on Blue Mica, seats was very uncomfortable and the sound was horrible because the 450h+ doesn’t come with Mark L sound at least in California, then when I bought it the salesman lied to me about the ‘’$7500 cash back ‘’ from the government because initially I went there to buy the 350h and they push me to the 450h+ because of the ‘’rebate’’ but I recorded the salesman saying that with my phone, fast forward to a year after that the government gave me &70 bucks in credit on me ta because of the purchase then I went mad back to the dealership and show the owner what happened he freaked out and told me what I want , I admit I make another mistake by telling him to give me a luxury one because of the uncomfortable seats from the Fsport that was the most hated thing and to give me the $7,500 back to the 8k dollar I financed on the Fsport and went out with a pay off NX450h+ Luxury 2 years newer to find out how CRAP THE suspecion but because in California a car over 40k can’t be returned I keep it for a few month and couldn’t handle the crap supension and the horrible sound system that I went to my friend Porsche dealership I got Macan 2023 with a very long 8 year warranty, I did many research and since 2022 the New Macan models was corrected most of his issues… MACAN IS A WAY WAY SUPERIOR SUV than the wannabe sport Lexus that comes with bicycle tires size🤣🤣🤣 235 wide for a 73k ‘’Fsport’’ SUV???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sir, for the 2024 NX450 Luxury with 700 miles CarMax didn’t want to give me more than 56k and I payed 73k , so you tell me if the Macan is the only one here that lose value, thank GOD I told in the Porsche dealership that CarMax offer me 63k and it took me around 1 hour for them to give me 64k for the NX because I was buying a NEW Macan , plus my friend at the Porsche dealership gave me 15% off from The MSRP, and I saw the used ones before going for a new one and prices was not to far from the new ones…. Check for yourself how much a Use Macan is going for in good good condition…. Even use ones are not cheap

Most evs and phevs now offer runflats or tire repair kits fyi dud battery location ..our old etron was one of the super rare ones to still offer one
