@@BellHillMayor Yeah Chima really did improve in seasons 2 and 3. That felt like a much better blend of world building, lore, plot, and character growth.
Also I've wished Season 1 got an rewritten Remake if Lego ever brings it back. Season 1 was okay, I've just wished that Lego didn't make the Crocs, Wolves, Raves and the Rhinos the bad guys in the first place, Like seriously Lego? That didn't make sense whatsoever -_- I've preferred evil insects and evil bats and evil frozen animals as the bad guy tribes myself, that made more sense to me.
it hurts seeing chima as one of the forgotten because it was one of the things that shaped my childhood the most. from the lego sets to the series, it is truly one of the most nostalgic things for me
Can I have a question? How did LEGO Chima ended? 'cause it'd stopped airing in my country just as that one guy, who was adoptive father of lioness love interest, was "charcoaled" and I couldn't find any more of it.
@@AmetistJones so it ended with the six heroes (Laval, Cragger, Eris, Razar, Worriz, and Gorzan) finding the six pairs wings of fire (I forget what their actual names are) then they flew into mount Cavora which then unfroze everything and everyone, and Sir Fangar became uncursed

seeing mixels and chima as forgotten shows baffles me tbh. those two shows were the pinnacle of childhood for me. i remember searching for mixel fanart and mixels youtube videos when i was younger
Nexo Knights actually has some insanely cool shit in their sets, the swords and shields were genuinely really sick and I think I brought a few small sets here and there for those. Chima was also really cool with some really good sets as well but you actually didn’t mention one of the best series in my opinion, I don’t know if it was made as a show or if it had a show made after it already started as a Lego line but Hero Factory was so cool as a kid I honestly liked it over Bionicle but that’s probably a result of the time period I grew up a bit after bionicle’s peak and before the really bad reattempt at bringing it back
it was amazing. still have all my figs but I don't have the sets fully built anymore. Main thing I loved was the axel mold that should be used way more but tweaked a little
Honestly one of my favorite things about chima's show was its scale. Battles there actually had bigger fights and army vs. army with the main characters included. Shows like Ninjago tend to be smaller scale where only the heroes fight their enemies and everyone else is just kinda.. useless lol, they run and hide or dont bother getting involved. Chima actually had most if not all members of the tribes fight each other, it felt much more involved rather than relying on one small group of indviduals. It stood out more than practically every other show that was focused on just a single "group". One was sorta like playing a squad based shooter, the other a game of Civilization.
It’s sad Lego Chima, Nexo Knights and especially Mixels were forgotten. Mixels was my life back then. I remember collecting every single mixel and having fun mixing them together.
Nexo Knights hasn’t been forgotten by all though. There’s an active fandom dedicated to keeping the show alive. You just have to look around. I’d know, I’m one of the fans that clings to the show still. I know plenty of fellow fans, kinda crazy what you find when you look!
Unikitty was an amazing show that I still love to this day! I think it was overlooked by a lot of people because it was a kid show and people thought it was just another teen titans go. But honestly it’s so much more than that, it was funny and charming, and had AMAZING CHARACTERS! The main antagonists Master Frown and (sorta) Brock were so great! Unikitty had a lot of beautiful backgrounds (LIKE SOME OFTHE FROWNTOWN BACKGROUNDS WERE SO COOL) and even some hardcore scenes! Obviously not all the episodes were a gem but were still good and humorous. Anyways that’s my rant about an underrated show that deserved more (in my opinion). And if someone’s reading this, I suggest you give it a shot :D!
I swear the bad scheduling for the show and them literally advertising the show as *”BEHIND THE CREATORS OF TTG”* despite only having one or two members on there stained its potential 😭.
NGL, UniKitty getting her own show made sense considering how most of the other main cast seems to fit in a different LEGO theme (the exceptions being Batman plucked directly from DC and Benny being directly repurposed from LEGO Space). Emmet/Rex, President Business, and Bad Cop seem to fit the LEGO City theme, Wyldstyle/Lucy and Vitruvius seem to fit with the Minifigures theme, Metalbeard is built off the Pirates theme, etc. With this, this is probably an in-universe LEGO theme, which could explain the spare bricks in Finn's basement. The only other outliers would be Watevra Wanabi and Sweet Mayhem as the former is a brick-built character and the latter is a minidoll that does not conform to the LEGO Friends design standards.
gotta love how Mixels actually puts the "Lego" and "Imagination" both into The Cartoon and The Lego versions of the character since you can actually go nuts and create your own Mixes
I honestly think that mixels are the most pure representation of Lego. Colorful little creative guys that you can mix and be creative with. They encourage imagination to the max (heh). If someone would ask me what the entire Lego brand was all about (in play and concept), I'd show them mixels
Chima was actually pretty good, and it holds up to this day there’s a lot of messages about Oil and specifically western countries that horde oil and have invaded the Middle East for it. It’s interesting to see everything I never would have picked up on as a kid, watching the show. Edit: It's a kid's show chill out in the comments
Don't forget the moral lesson of corruption and manipulation being able to ruin lifelong friendships, which is kind of an easier message for a kid's brain to interpret.
I never thought about Chi being oil, especially when Chi means god in Igbo, and is about Chima's society's life source. It's not finite like oil, though it takes time to regenerate; it can be exploited because of it's psychological and political effects, not because of monetary value (even if oil also has political influence in our world, it's much different from Chi's). I'd say Chima is more broad, about human nature in general, like the exploitation of power, addiction, and religion, and the exploitation of oil does fall on one of Chi's critical topics.
I feel in love with Unikitty the first time I seen her with my own two eyes. I first liked her in the Lego movie but after realizing she was getting her own show. It was just amazing. loved the series.
The thing that interests me most about Nexo Knights is that there are some major changes to the status quo (Jestro joins the main knights) that people only know about because five sets were completed before it was cancelled and released anyway.
Merlok also dies and is replaced by Ava. That’s another big thing that happened! Honestly sounds like the show was gonna be quite different in some ways and would have been enjoyable to see play out. Unfortunately, we never got that fifth or sixth season. BUT HEY! That’s what a fandom’s for, right?! If you look around, it’s amazing how long this show has managed to keep fans for. I know like 30 people probably at least who like the show actively and I keep finding more people who like it everyday!
@@mrfazbear1849 The comics aren’t considered to be actual canon, they are more like alternate universe. However, they do give us an idea of what it might be like!
@@mrfazbear1849 Another source of ideas of what the season 5&6 could look like comes from the Merlok 2.0 app. The canonicity of both are debated in the fandom but they’re interesting to absorb regardless.
I grew up with Ninjago when it first aired and I loved the first two seasons. As Chima began to air I ended up getting hooked on that series too and loved it more than Ninjago, but a lot of Lego fans seemed to enjoy the former show to my surprise and by the time I realized by just how much, Chima got cancelled and Ninjago Rebooted starting airing. It's a shame because the show vastly improved with each season and during Season 3 it was revealed that Chima was a floating island above a much larger world that never got expanded on. It was cut too short and I wish it had received more attention than it got. I'm hoping that one day it gets brought back with a movie or another season that explores more of what the realm has offer, especially given how it's connected to other shows.
If I remember correctly, there were 3 movies made for Mixels. 2 of them were about Nixels making an evil plan and Mixels try to stop them (Nixels are creatures that try to get mixing cubes and rule the Mixels). They might have the same concept but they both had their own characters and storylines. And the third movie was about two kids who are cousins and come from a place that still has a kingdom or something and the King (one of the kids' dad) send them to the big Mixels City for education. I've never fully watched them but I remember seeing them as clips on CZcams and they were fun to watch.
I never forgot Chima and Nexoknights. Chima has been my favorite and I wished it did continue. Chima's second season wasn't really catching and I could tell it couldn't last. However, they ended it on a good note and I did enjoy it to the end. Knowing it got cameos in Ninjago gives me a little hope that LEGO will do more cameos with it like they always have with their retired sets. I do remember they tried inventing a toy set for kids to battle with, it didn't stick however.
I never watched season 2 of chima but I still play the 3ds game and i still remember when chima made a cameo in ninjago it was one of my favorite moments in the ninjago series
"it didn't stick however" i mean maybe not for all but it did for me, me and my female friend LOVED the show and we watched all of it, at least i did since i enjoyed it so much but i remember she came to my house and had bought some lego chima set we could have fun with and we went to her house and had hella fun with them, i don't know how but we somehow did.. we even used to combine other parts to make them like more icey since some of the episodes had ice tribe, we liked doing so much together we even fell in love! i knows its pretty crazy how common interest can mean but at least i hope you know that at least some people at fun with the legos and the chima show..
I so VIVIDLY remember being in the ninjago fandom when Chima first released. The beef between ninjago and chima/the fandoms was so real. It was truly an era
Man, nexo knights and legends of chima was such a blast from the past. I generally forgot they existed, thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing back childhood memories that were lost in time❤
From Playing as Nexo Knights and Lego Chima to colecting Lego mixels as a kid, It hurts to see them be or forgotten or discontinued😞. This was my childhood, I will never forget these memories❤
I really liked Lego nexo knights. I always thought the show had potential. It had interesting characters with different backgrounds like Jestro, Macy and Clay and the narrative could have expanded in many different and interesting ways, but they chose to make many episodic episodes with repetitive scenarios, and small budget in the lands of the kingdom and especially in people's villages and clothes.
Yeah thought it was cool the main character effectively dies and the green night has to step up as leader, really interesting choice to see the bad ass side character be given the responsibilities of the typically more tame, heroic leader
Nexo Knights will FOREVER be one of my favourite shows. I fell in love with how unique the worldbuilding ideas were and how interesting the world got, with each new aspect being like "Wow, that's actually super smart!" Each of the characters were unique with their own backstories and I absolutely LOVE the magic system. It's never been done before and that's why I loved it so much. There was so much potential for it People kind of forgot about Nexo Knights but I will always remember it to be one of the most interesting worlds I have ever seen

I think the main reason Legends of Chima didn't catch on was because it couldn't capture kids' imaginations like Ninjago could. To show what I mean, I think Harry Potter is the perfect example of this, almost every kid who watched the series could imagine themselves at Hogwarts and learning magic. Ninjago had that quality thanks to Spinjitzu, you could learn kung fu then spin around into an elemental tornado, what kid wouldn't love that? Plus it was basically screaming for kids to imagine what their own element would be, especially Season 4 where they introduced a million different elements to show kids that they could pick whatever they wanted. But for Legends of Chima, they just didn't have that aspect, the only thing going for them was Chi which only made you glow a little on top of making you faster and stronger, it pull in a kid's imagination like Hogwarts or Spinjitzu could. I think that aspect was the lightning in the bottle that Ninjago was able to capture that the other shows just couldn't. Luckily not all Lego shows are doing bad, Monkie Kid seems to be doing well from what I can tell, I personally love that show, I just wish they made it more accessible.
Unikitty and Mixels were some of the most fun Lego themes in recent memory to me, The shows were really entertaining and the sets were (for lack of a better term) Really fun, super colorful, and great build and play with, they are two Lego themes I miss a lot.
Fr, like they were great and underrated shows however because they were meant for a more younger and childish audience they were not really expanded upon.
Chima has a soft spot in my childhood heart. I love watching Chima as a kid and got one of their sets, I also enjoyed watching Mixels too, they were really fun.
Man Chima was my favorite theme when I was a kid. I loved Ninjago, but everything about Chima was just ten times cooler to me. I never got that many sets, but the ones I did get I have butchered into all manner of creations over the years. I was really sad when it ended, but not like I could do anything about that. One of these days I'm gonna buy some of the Chima sets I really wanted when I was young.
What I've found to be interesting about LoC's ending is that the entirety of the show had happened in only 1 of the many floating islands that could be seen just before it all cuts to black, and Cragger says: "how do we get down from here?" It's giving Dragon City with the islands floating above an unexplored world with inter-lapping biomes It's also giving MCSM, season 1 episode 5
Same, I loved chima so much, I remember wanting the lion temple for my 10th birthday and my parents searched so long for it, only to find it was discontinued 😢
I remember having all of the games, some sets, I was a big fan, but then it just stopped and I forgot about it,, until I replayed all of the PS games I had of chima, such a throwback to my childhood, now I've been hoping for a possible comeback, it's possible, not as its own but apart with ninjago.
I remember watching the Chima premier with my family when I was younger at Lego Land in California. It was shown in a big screen, 4D theater with smells coming out of the seats. Pretty cool experience.
The Lego chima sets were AMAZING. some of the parts you get from these spark some crazy builds. I remember having broken my giant fire halk thing and was so sad but then made a giant mech and was so happy... Those were the days😢
In my opinion Chima is the only one that really feels like it deserves to come back. but NOT as its own show, since it prolly wouldnt do that well, however they can continue the legacy of the chima world and its characters in Ninjago Dragons Rising. Now that all the realms have merged. Also can u imagine a Ninjago season set in Chima, that world is just so beautiful I'd LOVE IT! Since a lot of people are speculating that lord ras (the secondary antagonist of dragons rising for anyone who doesnt know who he is) is from chima which I agree with id love to see this be a reality and get some cameos from a few other chima characters from time to time.
Chima can come back by itself and do well. It was meant to be something. Ninjago has nothing to do with Chima if you think about it If you're interested in how Chima would work alone, you might be interested in The Forgotten Legends of Chima! It's my interpretation of Chima's storyline
@@bennysundance175 ooooh. They were separated from the main world after the place was all... whatevered up and the great devourer is the true version of the snakes. Interesting. Maybe some travellers tea was used and accidentally brought the snakes.
Chima had great sets and a good concept, sad it didn’t get to go further. ALSO, Chima is theorized to have been the concept between Lego and Cartoon Network that got the Thundercats reboot canceled, since CN Executives wanted to do more with Lego
i adore mixels! they were pretty much my introduction to lego and they're great :) one thing i've always liked about mixels was how affordable they were,, i was more fond of the quirky silly creature design rather than the minifigures (which would probably be considered a crime to lego fans lol), and the assortment of blocks you get from buying em was nice
My family and I watched Chima religiously, and kept up to date with every twist and turn of the whole plot, e even though we thought practically all of the voice acting was pretty bad😂😂😂
I remember the nexo knights mobile game, it was fantastic. you could use the shields you got through sets and scan them in the game for abilities and even combine them! it was super fun
Maaaaaan. I loved that game. I downloaded images on another phone and scanned them😂 I can't find the game anywhere now and even if I do it doesn't work. The whole serial was completely forgotten and the original game deleted 😢😞
To be certain, I've never forgotten Unikitty!, even though it's part of the Lego Movie franchise. And despite stopping and forgotten where I left off on its final season, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the character herself and great Tara Strong's voice performance.
The Unikitty show in my opinion was so underrated. One of the only times I actually wanted LEGO sets tied to a TV show aside from Star Wars the clone wars.
Same here! I got as many sets as I can before they no longer made it and found (in the US at least, though you can find more sets in other countries such as Ecuador)
i really liked the more grounded, morally gray tone of chima. a reason of why the theme failed is that lego sets usually are placed in an "evil" section and the "heroes" section (for stories), but because the crocodiles weren't exactly bad they had problems as to where to put them and children got confused
That, and LEGO was milking the hell out of the Fire vs Ice sub theme (literally three set waves just for that) rather than letting Chima do something new, and I think kids got tired of it.
Not enough people talking about how fire Unikitty is, its a top tier lego show that was great every episode, none of the characters were annoying and all very likable. It deserved better than what it got 8.5/10 show.
The Unikitty and Mixels are both very strongly distinguished from Ninjago because of them being 2D animated, and both of them overall, essentially having their own unique identity. Mixels, especially because that show is an all-time childhood favorite of mine and I love it in every single way. And before you ask me, I got every single Mixel that Lego ever sold.
Chima wasy my childhood and I'll hopefully never forget it. In school we always theorised which animal races would be added next, but then it just stopped. I started being interested in Nexo knights afterwards, but it always was just like a filler for the hole left behind.
nexo knights had a cool gimmick where you could collect the different icon power things. While watching the show those popups appear with the logo on a shield and if you scan it you unlock it. was a cool gimmick at the time that as a kid I was very into.
i used to really like Nexo Knights back when I was 10! to the point where i would make my own characters and draw fanart for the show, as well engage in a lot of fandom stuff surprisingly, a lot of people loved it despite it's lackluster plot-i think a lot of the interest came from the fact that people used their imaginations to fill in the blanks of character backstories, making them more 3 dimensional. some of the fanworks by other people give them WAY more depth than anything the show could ever do
Also, I loved Nexo Nights the game. Scanning the shields to get funny and OP spells in-game was really fun. I do know now that you could've literally just draw the shields or google them, but I still have a little collection of them to this day
@@TheRealYgrek AY SAME. The nostalga is coming back to me rlly hard. I am dissapointed the app went down. :( I would have scanned some illegal shields from later seasons.
Although just making the same villain return and turning the other guy evil again just after he tried to redeem himself was the worst decision they could have made, season 3&4 actually expanded on some characters which was nice. Again sad that they just made them having no way to defeat the new monsters at first and then just getting a new way to power up an early season "plot" point, but these seasons atleast don't feel like every episode's the same when revisiting them now, definetly an upgrade from season 1&2. Of course I enjoyed all of it a few years ago.
The Unikitty cartoon was such a big part of my tween years. It’s what introduced me to the idea of “Fandom” as a whole, and I met a lot of cool artists there! Also: there was shipping. Lots of shipping XD I’m sad it’s considered forgotten by many today, since it gives me a lot of nostalgia and fond memories looking back 💖
Another forgotten Lego show I watched as a kid: Lego Hero Factory. This one felt a bit more mature than the other Lego stuff I watched, and some episodes, villains and concepts really terrified me as a kid, and I still have some of the sets and guidebooks.

It had some cool concepts, but Lego never wanted the lore to expand beyond the simple adventures in the episodes, so there's not much to it. There were some hints at larger plotlines, but they were never developed beyond a couple of teases. The characters were mostly consistent, but by the end they became pretty interchangable. Breakout, their fourth set of episodes, is widely seen as the peak.
Nexo knights has only four seasons. A fifth season Was planned and lego Sets for the Final season got released, but the last season got canceled. I did not forget Nexo Knights. I discovered it after becoming a fan of Ninjago, although I don’t remember much about the show because I was more interested in Ninjago and watched more of it than Nexo Knights. This video also made me remember the Mixels. I remembered watching those shorts, but I never knew the name of the show.
Legends of Chima, I've never watched it, but I remember going to Legoland in Boston and there was a ride that gave you some guns to shoot at the screen while also having a 3d movie about the show next door in it's own theater! That was the first time and last time I've ever visited a Legoland, all they way back in 2016. I also remember stealing wheels and faces from the store. It was easy and I never got caught.
It's just a theory but there is a high chance General Ras from Dragon's Rising is a Chima character. He is confirmed to be an outsider of Imperium so he comes from a different realm and is an anthropomorphic tiger which are a tribe in Chima.

If you look at popular fandom things like tumblr, discord, and ao3 I know fans still talk about NEXO Knights and they also kind of rewrite the show too! I would know because I’m apart of the active fandom myself. 😭
I mean, if you still like it, you would probably be welcomed by the surprisingly active albeit kinda small fandom. Nexo Knights still has enjoyers even to this day. Kinda crazy.
Nexo Knights, Unikitty and Mixels may be forgotten, but they absolutely are the few that carried my childhood (my cringe era) when they were still running. The Nexo Knights and Mixels game they used to have had potential too (Maybe I'm just saying that bc it help build my childhood)
Uni kitty was a very big show to 7 year old me back then. I remember watching all of the episodes in awe. Uni kitty is a very underrated show in my opinion- people should notice it a lot more
When Nexo Knights first came out was instantly hooked on the franchise as I loved the concept and premise about medieval knights in a futuristic utopia, as a young teen I was so intrigued by it and thought it was so cool, even though looking back on the show as an adult its clearly not as good as I remember. My favourite character is Jestro as I related to his turn character and felt bad for him. I collected the LEGO sets, and the customizable shields which I scanned and used to play the online mobile game which I remember being really fun and still have said LEGO sets shelved to this day. Even though the show is not as good as I remember I still look back at the franchise as enjoyable
I grew up with Ninjago and Nexo Knights on Cartoon Network Comparing the two, Nijago is definitely A LOT better But I loved Nexo Knights too back then and was sad to see it go Sure it's not as good as I remember, but I think, it deserved a second chance My favourite character was Macy. I really related to her struggle of having to be someone she never wanted to be, even if it is pretty basic now that I think ab it
I think the concept is what hooks most of us. It’s got solid concepts even if the execution isn’t excellent all the time. I think the ideas are fascinating and that’s what’s kept the fanbase alive after so many years ( the fandom is still alive, by the way. It is impressive.)
Never had any toysets from chima but my family went to legoland once and bought a chima sword. My sibling really loved it that it broke after long years of usage, he also loved the show too so its kind a a shame it didn't work that well
I got almost every episode of Chima on DVD. I was such a big fan I'd stay up to date on when new episodes were released and then immediately go to the store to buy the DVD with the next 4 episodes. As far as I remember, season 2 was my favourite, because the threat (Which I think was like a scorpion tribe) felt actually threatening, like they would destroy the world if they weren't defeated.
I loved nexo knights and unikitty, I'm sad they were cancelled, but now that’s it’s been almost teen years since nexo knights started I don’t know how it works have continued. I think unikitty could’ve kept going
There were plans for a season 5&6 actually. Solid concepts. Monstrox was going to become a hologram, Jestro was going to become a knight, Merlok was going to die and be replaced by Ava, Clay was going to interact with his lost brother Fletch (we got a confirmation on the identity of Clay’s sibling), Lance was going to interact with his younger sister Izzy, and I believe Macy was going to become queen. There’s a lot of season 5 concepts disclosed on Tommy Andreason’s twitter, actually! The fandom ate those tweets up. I sometimes wonder if those tweets are what have put the fandom on life support for all this time. The fandom still exists for Nexo Knights- even if it is a little bit harder to find.
Ahh, Chima was a great show and I (or rather my sister, I got the Ninjago ones) had quite a few sets of them, we enjoyed watching both shows and were really sad when Chima was discontinued, to this day I need to rewatch Chima like I did with Ninjago (which I stopped watching after Season 7 when the Ninjas got a change of appearance). Got even a few books from Chima. I wish they continued Chima in expense of the other shows, I think it was far superior (except Ninjago of course).
Yeah, I stopped watching ninja go for that reason. The creators also seemed to have gotten lazy, as now the episodes are all like five minutes long and in ridiculous and repetitive scenarios
Please do watch it! Alot of my favorite seasons are after season 7. Yes it may take a while to get used to the new designs, afterall the original designs are what we grew up watching, but for me who disliked the redesigns at first, ended up loving them more than the original. In fact I think it matches their personality more (that being said I still can't get used to zane's human form design) and it showed that they grew up since season 7 (there's a time skip between s7 and s8). Also season 8 and after took a bit of a darker more mature theme so if you're into that, you might like it. That being said I do see some valid criticisms regarding the storywritings and characters but I personally didn't mind it that much.

Think about how cold Cartoon Network must’ve been, that they abandoned their LEGO fans in our flesh and blood because of low rating or bad reviews
Cartoon Network has never been kind to their shows, especially LBGTQ+ related ones like Steven Universe.
Finally someone that understands one of Chima's greatest qualities.

1. Chima
2. Mixels
3. Next knights, just because of the actors
4. Unikitty
I wouldn’t know. I was like four when everyone in my Montessori class talked about lego chima and didn’t understand a thing
It’s sad Lego Chima, Nexo Knights and especially Mixels were forgotten. Mixels was my life back then. I remember collecting every single mixel and having fun mixing them together.
I still have parts for all three, they're just mixed in with other parts. Mixels were the best ones
Nexo Knights hasn’t been forgotten by all though. There’s an active fandom dedicated to keeping the show alive. You just have to look around. I’d know, I’m one of the fans that clings to the show still. I know plenty of fellow fans, kinda crazy what you find when you look!

The one thing I remember about the Unikitty show was that they had an entire episode dedicated to the appendix and how it could explode at any time.
Giant robot episode? I remember watching the entire show a while back
@@Democracylover710 indeed
Not as goat as chima or ninjago.
I remember unkitty it so wonderful this but it ran over 2017-2020 before was getting cancelled
I actually created my own stop motion videos with custom mixels when I was little. But the videos are probably lost to history
Man making custom mixels was so much fun
Huh. So that's what that means
@@MASTEROFEVIL yeah, at least that's been my take on it.
What?
I feel in love with Unikitty the first time I seen her with my own two eyes. I first liked her in the Lego movie but after realizing she was getting her own show. It was just amazing. loved the series.
When you showed Chima and Mixels nostalgia hit me
The thing that interests me most about Nexo Knights is that there are some major changes to the status quo (Jestro joins the main knights) that people only know about because five sets were completed before it was cancelled and released anyway.
@@gardenofeden682 Actually the last ten comics in LEGO nexo knights magazine were kinda the fifth season of the show.
@@mrfazbear1849 The comics aren’t considered to be actual canon, they are more like alternate universe. However, they do give us an idea of what it might be like!

You’re not the only one! I think that’s why the fandom is still around to this day.
Yeah thought it was cool the main character effectively dies and the green night has to step up as leader, really interesting choice to see the bad ass side character be given the responsibilities of the typically more tame, heroic leader

One of these days I'm gonna buy some of the Chima sets I really wanted when I was young.
What I've found to be interesting about LoC's ending is that the entirety of the show had happened in only 1 of the many floating islands that could be seen just before it all cuts to black, and Cragger says: "how do we get down from here?"
It's giving Dragon City with the islands floating above an unexplored world with inter-lapping biomes
It's also giving MCSM, season 1 episode 5

Ninjago has nothing to do with Chima if you think about it

i really liked the more grounded, morally gray tone of chima. a reason of why the theme failed is that lego sets usually are placed in an "evil" section and the "heroes" section (for stories), but because the crocodiles weren't exactly bad they had problems as to where to put them and children got confused

The Crocodiles: 🍷🗿
The Nexo Knights community is surprisingly active to this day.
For any NEXO Knight fans that were reawakened due to this video, Tubi has all the episodes of NEXO Knights if wanna find where to watch it.
THANK YOU!!! I mean this is my childhood, I watched this all when im 6-12 and forget the show till now I'm 18 I see this and remember all good times. Old but gOLD
I was absolutely obcessed with Nexo Knights.
Mixels actually wasn't just shorts! Season 2 had 4 22 minutes episodes/specials with an over arcing plot about King Nixel!
And they include, the quest for a mixamagic, mixel moon madness, every kinght has his day and nixel nixel go away
I feel that Chima still holds up to this day , it was a huge part of my childhood and the childhoods of others .The designs , messages, and story where done so well. It's still my goal to collect all the Chima lego sets lol. I will never forget this show. Also nice vid lol. ❤
( I also like Nexo Knights but not as much )
How far along are you in the collection? I'm doing something similar, I'd say I have about 65% of all sets already, mostly small ones are missing
@@georgfalkenhahn377 like 50% I have most of the smaller sets .good question btw ( lol )
Omg same I loved Chima as a kid, for so many years. Even now, as I’m in highschool, I may rewatch all of it just for the nostalgia
Same. I need to get back to getting Chima sets. There are still some I want.
@@ltb1345 good luck with that, since now they are all crazy expensive
0:55 Yes, my favorite character trait: WOMAN
It's just a theory but there is a high chance General Ras from Dragon's Rising is a Chima character. He is confirmed to be an outsider of Imperium so he comes from a different realm and is an anthropomorphic tiger which are a tribe in Chima.
I know you said it just a theory and i hate to be those type of people but i can't help it to point out some thing wrong like he dosent look like tbe tigers that were seen in chima
@@MariaLopez-ti4ooi also hate dumb theories but I can see Lord Ras actually being from Chima. It's just a theory, but we just have to wait for Part 2 and to see if it's true ir not. If it is true then it's okay. If it isn't true, then that's fine
@@MariaLopez-ti4oo maybe ras was a character that was going to be an antagonist but wasn't able to because chima was cancelled.
@@MariaLopez-ti4oo anyway's maybe ras is a panther.
and apon researching black maind lions do exist
@@rivaul3649I feel like that reveal would happen in part 3, as part 2 seems it’s going to focus purely on the Empress
I loved mixels i liked them more then everything every time i went shopping with my grandma she bought me one and i always combined them and had really 1000 of hours playtime with them
honestly, i started to watch chima way before ninjago, it hurts to see em as 'forgotten', i just loved this show
i'm french btw and the FR version protagonist voice was ironically the best
I want a Nexo Knights reboot
me too
Yes please
Same
sooo true
It’s kind of surprising how many fans we still have left in the Nexo Knights community after all these years
If you look at popular fandom things like tumblr, discord, and ao3 I know fans still talk about NEXO Knights and they also kind of rewrite the show too! I would know because I’m apart of the active fandom myself. 😭
Hidden Side is so forgettable that even he forgot to put it on the list 💀
Fr
Forgot it had a show
Concept and Sets were ok. So much wasted potential
And Elves too 💀
i loved Chima, remember it fondly, loved the lego sets, wish more ppl liked them, cause i loved it so much, maybe one day itll come back
Man i used to love mixels, i always played with them with my sister, i really loved them.
Mixels may be forgotten but so called mixel ball joints were a massive game changer for both official LEGO sets and MOCs builders
Nexo Knights was one of my favorites, it has probably one the best examples of character development going wrong with Jestro
I mean, if you still like it, you would probably be welcomed by the surprisingly active albeit kinda small fandom. Nexo Knights still has enjoyers even to this day. Kinda crazy.
Jestro is one of my favourite lego villains
I loved each of these shows
Nexo Knights, Unikitty and Mixels may be forgotten, but they absolutely are the few that carried my childhood (my cringe era) when they were still running.
The Nexo Knights and Mixels game they used to have had potential too (Maybe I'm just saying that bc it help build my childhood)
Uni kitty was a very big show to 7 year old me back then. I remember watching all of the episodes in awe. Uni kitty is a very underrated show in my opinion- people should notice it a lot more
Yes!
I grew up with Ninjago and Nexo Knights on Cartoon Network
Comparing the two, Nijago is definitely A LOT better
But I loved Nexo Knights too back then and was sad to see it go
Sure it's not as good as I remember, but I think, it deserved a second chance
My favourite character was Macy.
Jestro is realy Nice character.
Nexo nights kima and ninjago are the three shows I watched as a kid and still remember, I spent so much time watching those every day.
Never heard of the mixels shorts, but always played the game. I loved them
The Eagle lady from Chima did things to me that not even Lola Bunny manage to accomplish.
Mixels and Unikitty were my favorites when i was younger 😭
Me too
I used to Watch those shows too.
I barely remember much of Chima, but i remember loving this so much
Never had any toysets from chima but my family went to legoland once and bought a chima sword.
Yo same lol
I watched all of them and they are pretty much my childhood
God I was absolutely obsessed with Chima, I had so much Chima stuff, nearly had every set from the last wave of Season 1, it was awesome!
