    As a successful brother, I can’t show up with my fellow VPs with a woman with yellow hair and neon nails. It would immediately downgrade my corporate brand and limit the opportunities. I know some may not understand, but this is how it goes.

      @@credred1793 Great point, but I would never ask a woman of this age to change who she is at this point. The colors are expressive and that is part of her personality. When I was younger, my wife and I grew together along with our preferences. I may be too conservative for a person like her. Honestly, sometimes people are just not a good fit for each other and there is nothing wrong with either person.

My only response is “with their wives.” If these men just so happen to enter the dating market, they are typically out fairly quick. Why are these conversations always centered around what the man should do and what she refuses to do? They never addressed the real reason why they can't get the man they want. They never mention Character... its not about your race, career status, education, skin color, or even beauty etc... all of those things can get her some one for a moment and frankly using those surface level attributes as the reasons is a defense mechanism to avoid addressing character flaws that got them in this position... Its about the attitude and the willingness to be a helpmeet. Being feminine woman who's willing to give her all to a man who's willing to give his all.... their plenty of good hard working with character men who are willing to give their all but you have to desire THEM. Not on the surface level but on a personal level. Money and happiness are important but fleeting and shouldn't be the foundation. Character is long lasting that will get you thru the day to day.
    They are putting their wants over their needs... plenty of successful, beautiful and educated women have found great men. The difference those women who have that, typically are more pleasant to be around and sacrificed to be there...

I understand wanting representation in skin color, but it still does not take away from their statements regarding the suffrage of black women. If we focus so much on the nuance of black skin color rather than the message and insights spoken, we will loose focus on the message spoken and the impact, because we are so busy focusing specifically on such traits and attributes black skin color or colorist attributes, which is a disservice to black women in general. Focusing or constantly pointing out skin color does not help the plight, advancement, or attribution of black women in this context.

Whatever the answer to that question is is what you are looking for. What does it signal to you if someone is a bus driver? Whatever the answer to that question is is what you are trying to avoid. But those things aren't always dressed up in Harvard education and bus driver packages. They come in a range of packages.
    As for the racial component, yes there are a number of biases against black women. But I prefer this macro-level issue be addressed by sociology scholars because I think we drown ourselves with the macro perspective instead of focusing on our individual/micro relationship journeys.

      @CornellG Před 6 měsíci +7

      They don't want to hear this. Women think in terms of possibility, not probability. Hence why I never understood why men who make less then 100k worry. The 100k line of men have 40 women to every man. After 30 of those women know they won't be picked or taken seriously, they go down to the 80-90k line think they'll have better odds. After realizing that line is just as packed, they go down to the 60-80k line. Although not as packed, that line still has competition and expectations associated. Hence the frustration from these women. They want the best, but hate the idea of having to compete for it.

    • @CornellG
      @CornellG Před 6 měsíci +6

      @Kemet89 Whether it’s a lot of money or not, doesn’t change the fact that only 15% of all Americans make it. So finding a man making six figures is rare, even if it isn’t alot of money. The rare part is the point.

    • @CornellG
      @CornellG Před 6 měsíci

      You're naming all extreme hypotheticals. In a vacuum, money can only hide so many flaws which I agree. However, you're continue to miss the point that anybody making a 100k is rare. If you include factors like debt, child support, etc, then it makes a man who makes over a 100k and without all of those even more rare. For example, I don't have any school debt, I make over 150k, no kids, no std's, I care about appearance and hygiene a little too much if I had to be honest. So when I was single, I had plenty of options to choose from. Does that mean every women I met wanted me, of course not. It's simply about who has the advantage from simply numbers alone. It seems you don't like the idea of 100k men having this advantage and your frustration should be with the women who desire them and put that requirement. If the requirement was 50k men then 100k men wouldn't feel so cocky. As it stands, men who make over 75k are in the minority and anything in the minority always has options over the majority. Economics and marketing 101. @Kemet89

    • @CornellG
      @CornellG Před 6 měsíci

      It seems as though you feel that men who make 100k shouldn't feel special. Blame that on the market demand, not then men who make it. Whether you feel it's not enough or not, doesn't take away that numbers are in favor of men who make 100k+. For example, I make over 150k, no kids, no std's, I care a lot about my appearance and hygiene. Although I look at myself as a normal everyday guy, I did notice my influx of options before I eventually met my wife. It's simple supply and demand. @rickyv7757 Men understand and learn from childhood that you don't become and stay the best without continuous hard work and sacrifices. Since men are competitive by nature, they don't see vacation and going on trips as valuable because, for them, it's a waste of time, and it brings no values in what they want to achieve. As they are saying says , you don't become a LeBron, Kobe, by doing what everybody else are doing. If it was that easy to be the top 1 to 20 % , everybody would be millionaires or billionaires..

If you have money and you met a guy who is great in every way except he doesnt have a lot of money why is that not good enough? He will only resent you if you hold the fact that doesnt have money over his head. If he is your husband all you have to do is open a joint bank account. And let him handle the finances. Assuming you trust.. your husband. Of course. Maybe thats the issue. Trust.. maybe the problem isnt men at all.. just food for thought...

    I get it - this isn’t a space for black women to strategize, heal, and have constructive conversations. This appears to be another platform for black/biracial women to commiserate on why they haven’t married a wealthy capitalist/elitist. I believe these conversations cause more harm than good. Young black girls don’t need to be constantly reminded that they’re not “preferred”. I’m sick of seeing beautiful educated women appear to be miserable because of not having a man. I’m sure all these women have impacted countless lives throughout their careers - let’s focus on that.
    Hell, I’m sure if a wealthy good looking black man was watching this his first reaction wouldn’t be… I want to make one of them my wife. So, what’s the point

      Bw are only miserable because they refuse to expand their options. Most bw only want bm. Bm are the worse performing demographic in america and yet bm are all that bw want. That's kinda how I took that last statement about how the panelists fell in the "preferred" category. I agree this conversation does more harm than good. Definitely not any good. It's the same old conversation. I do believe there is a bias against black women but on the relationship front there are so many individual dynamics at play that are more likely at the root of why many women are single.

    I don't agree with these women.
    I'm a well-educated woman, and I did quite well for myself prior to meeting my husband. My husband is an executive of a large company, and he is a black man with two advanced degrees. He's wonderful and so loving. He's a great leader. The reason why I had no problems getting married was because I am pleasant, kind, nice, fit, feminine, friendly, and I work out. I don't have a negative attitude, and I understand that the disposition of a woman really impacts a man especially when you are married or trying to get married. These women need to be taught how to be feminine women. They need to be taught how to respect men. My husband doesn't have to compete with me. He knows that I fully respect him. If he makes a decision and something doesn't work out, I don't bash him and berate him. Furthermore, I don't treat him like my son. He is my man, not my child. There's a lot more that I could say about this, but I just feel as though it won't matter.

      I looked at the map and did the math recently. And the western world (US, Canada, UK, Western Europe, Australia, NZ) only encompasses about 600M ppl or about 7.5% of the global population of 8 billion.
      Feminism has fully subsumed the west. But in Asia, LATAM, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa, patriarchy still largely reigns. And in places where English is not prevalent you will find traditional women. The English language is now the circulatory system for feminist ideology. Places like Ethiopia, India, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Sri Lanka, Saudi, Oman, Japan, Vietnam speak little English and have very little feminism as a result. These countries also have low divorce rates. India, Guatemala, and Sri Lanka have the lowest divorce rates, as low as 1% in India.
      The solution is clear. You have to leave the west, and you need to learn at least 1 additional language. Women who do not speak English are less likely to be brainwashed by feminism, which is spread via English speakers, esp. American women.

    Although I agree with everything these women are saying. A lot of the bus drivers where I work make 140,000 a year. And the inner-city drivers make even more. So stop sleeping on the bus drivers.

    This whole video is women putting the blame on their failed relationships on everybody and everything but themselves(per usual). It’s very counterproductive and it’s not hard to see why most of these women are single, especially Eboni. Melissa KNOWS why she’s single.

  • @clarkpetion305
    @clarkpetion305 Před 6 měsíci +3

    Melissa Ford just said that the CEO of Xerox (I'm assuming the former CEO a woman) should not have to marry a bus driver. What would they even have in common. The question is, the other way around, why would a male CEO of American Express want to marry Melissa Ford? What would they even have in common? See how that works? Women view "value" in men strictly by their income. Men view "value" in a woman by her character and positive traits she can bring to their relationship. Further more... not every lawyer has a high income. Some get into law because they want to help others. Could Eboni see herself with a lawyer who makes $60k a year because he does a lot of probono work? Because they would actually have a lot in common. Notice how no one on this panel has what they are looking for yet...

      I see you’re intelligent! The problem is society has been sold a faulty value system. All the things people use to measure one another! Are superficial, and most people will not admit this. Because they will have to completely retrain their whole value system! And that’s a lot of work so most people would rather continue to let a way of thinking! Drag them into the abyss versus completely renewing their mind. Much love.

    The only thing I hear these women talk about with men is money power and status. Nothing about love, respect, commitment, compassion. Maybe if you stop reducing a man’s value to his wallet, you would find someone who wants to be your life partner.

      Eboni is wolf in sheep wool. She is looking for a partner and so trying to put this narrative she is changed from feminism but the real her keeps popping up. That's why she keeps contradicting herself a lot😂😂😂.
      Woman; I want to achieve all, get money but will resent a man because I pay for stuff.
      Man; I got you, I will pay for everything and treat you right, just stay on my program.
      Woman; No, I am not given up on my career, however, I still want a provider and protector but I want to do what I want and no man can tell me what to do.
      Man; Good luck then.
      WHAT A JOKE. YOU CANT HAVE IT ALL MA'AM. YOU AINT THAT SPECIAL BECAUSE, ALL YOUR ACCOLADES AND MONEY SEEMS TO BE ONLY YOURS AND DOESNT BENEFIT A MAN, BECAUSE YOU RESENT A MAN WHEN YOU SPEND MORE, WHY SHOULD A MAN IN YOUR CLASS OR HIGH DEAL WITH YOU, WHEN THERE ARE CO-OPERATIVE YOUNGER WOMEN THAT WONT GIVE A MAN HEAD ACHE AND DEAD BRAIN CELLS😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    You can build yourself into anything your heart desires but the customer always has a say. It's like a man saying that he's the number one kite flyer in the world but only makes 10k per year from it and he deserves the number one women in the world. Because he's the number one kite flyer. Women would call him crazy and rightfully so. The market ALWAYS determines your value to the market. Not you. That goes for everyone.
