A solid mahogany body is joined to a bolt-on maple neck for a balance of warmth and snap. From British Invasion to Jangle Pop, the Mach 12 can handle a wide range of tones thanks to a DiPinto "dual single" humbucker. Selecting both the neck single coil and tapped bridge summons every recognizable 12-string tune but you can take it further and enjoy a fat humbucker for heavier, modern applications. Plus, the DiPinto Mach XII keeps those multi-string fretting fingers happy with a 10" radius rosewood fretboard and 24 ¾" scale.

That's very cool! Looks great, especially in sunburst, and sounds teriffic. Playing's not too shabby either! I may have to get me one of those--I had no idea DiPinto was doing a 12-string! Their Galaxie 4 is cool too.
i guess i'm the only one that loves the look of the guitar? i love retro, wacky designs. i do have my limits though, haha. sounds awesome as well.

Why is it that people only seem to say "Looks have nothing to do with music" when something is ugly, but when it looks good, they say it's icing on the cake?
I think that thing looks freakin' sweet, and when my guitars look cool, or are more fun/comfortable/easy to play, I play them more; so yeah, looks of a guitar do matter, and for $650, that thing is on my wishlist.

That sounds fantastic! I had no idea 12-stringed electric could sound like that :D How is it tuned? One octave up or are some unison?
Is the neck on this guitar as wide as on the Italia Rimini 12 String? Definitely different tones from these two guitars.
How does this compare to the Italia Rimini 12?

Other question: do you use a rack system/compressor/gate/limiter or anything in this demo? which mic? sounds freaking good. guitar is very tasty, but i guess recording and your fingers do the rest! you have a great right hand!
I doubt it's possible for all kinds of reasons, but if there's another 12-string demo coming PLEASE play Hear My Train. That would be mind-blowing.

Andy....would be helpful if u guys did demos like GearManDude and show....if just in the background....exactly what amp and pedals u are using. Something flashed that u were using a LovePedal...for a second. Dont u think its wrong not to show exactly what else is in the signal chain...?

@punk9999643 Erm... first off I'm playing, secondly, yeah looks do have something to do with it. Thats why theres a whole industry based around guitars of all models and shapes. Metal bands want guitars that look like X's and rockers want Les Pauls. I like PRS'. Little girls like daisy shaped guitars. So yeah, I think to some extent it is about a look. Everyone wants to say they pick a guitar just for the sound, but I think looks do factor into it.

no no, Behinger are actually pretty bad, lol. Well, I think so anyway, and I can't say much good stuff about Boss (personal experience with a fair amount of their gear has taught me that). Each to their own though, and If Andy can make Behringer sound at least half decent, then maybe they're not a total loss :)
