I think this video is missing a big point. Yes Pauper is a cheap format that's super easily accessible. But more importantly it is a very powerful format with deep interactions and complex lines. All major deck archetypes have a representation in Pauper so there is a deck for everyone.

I don’t know if the power level is more important as there are other eternal formats with deeper lines than just, you know, wildfire a land, haha, but it's true. Pauper is cheap, powerful, and fun. In my personal take, if it weren't for its accessibility, I wouldn't be playing on mtgo at all, as the rest of the formats skyrocket in price. So if you look at it from an economic perspective, it's the most significant appeal for newer audiences, which is why I tried to emphasize it.

But you can say that it has a very deep card pool

@@davidroyale14 those were actually the exact two archetypes ive had in mind, i would maybe play boros synth with kuldotha and rally instead of foundry helix and makeshift, but maybe foundry is more balanced for the matchup

Nice video, just dunno if tron fits the combo img i have in mind? maybe walls would fit better XD, and maybe better than thrieving lands, gate lands would fit better, because they do the same but better, thrieving don't even run anymore DX
