You can probably tell this video was slightly rushed, pardon the odd cuts! And Shadowplay betrayed me by suddenly showing the logo in the bottom right - I fixed it from the next episode onwards 😂
Have any theories about the Forbidden Jungle? Let me know in the comments below!

Legends say he is laughing to this day.....
XD
This guy's out here putting to words the entire bulk of thoughts I had playing this game as a child.
Thanks for making the Good Stuff.
To this day I keep wondering if the Dark Eco Plant Monster was a failed experiment of the Precursors or a malevolent creation of Gol and Maia's
I think it’s Gol and Maia. They corrupted some plant turning it into a monster. Infecting the temple to disrupt sandover.
Remember, this is also the forest of the green eco sage. Corrupting the nature of the land around him is a good way to fight him indirectly.
Thinking about it. The proboscis on the precursor robots could easily fit on the eco vents. So it’s the eco vents that supply the robots. The temple is a blue eco generator. It would provide blue eco power for the precursor robots on the entire planet.
I'm loving this series. Excited to see the Sentinel Beach next.
Your ongoing support genuinely means a lot dude, thanks so much! I have all the video and voiceover done for the Sentinel Beach episode already so there will be less of a gap between this episode and that compared to the others :)
I only recently found your channel, but I'm really liking all this speculative Jack & Dexter lore. Honestly, I initially felt like trying to comprehend the lore of this world is a bit pointless since it got muddied up when Naughty Dog took a hint from Sony and made the games more mature and edgy for the second and third installments thanks to the uber success of GTA 3. But the more I listen to you the more I appreciate the effort you put into these videos. I also really like all the custom cinematography you do for these videos, especially when you show the levels in a bird's eye view or other perspectives that you never regularly see during normal gameplay.
Once again, loved it! I watch these on my lunch breaks at work💯
These videos make me appreciate just how much attention to detail this game was given. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much Thomas! Sentinel Beach episode coming up real soon!
this is pretty cool and awesome
liking this very much thank you
but also that bridge jump is pretty out of it how thats a jump staple point in the border checkpoints of the game
suprised that the speed runners found that out
also gotta love the laughing laughs coming from that laughing fishingman
Absolutely love your video!!! Much respect!
Thank you! This episode was a bit rushed but the rest of them are quality, thanks for watching 😁
Bro, if you ever write a book I want a copy. the narration you give to this series is great. I loved the Jak series growing up and listening to how you describe the scenery and story has made me very sentimental. keep it up!
Aw thank you so much, that's genuinely made my day!
As it so happens I have a few writing projects in the works! Nothing J&D related though - supernatural horror based around fictional Irish towns 👻
I can keep you updated on those as I develop them :)
Thanks again!
@@derrinmaloney1039 Yeah a book about the locales of J&D would be great. I'd definitely buy it.
Thanks for makeing this I all whated to know what the precursor text was and what it means make more of these it's fantastic
Thank you, more videos on the way in future 😁
Great video. Very interesting even though I never played jak and daxter. Hopefully it gets a remaster soon
I caught that Abe's Oddysee sound effect at 0:54!
Ay well spotted! Always good to encounter a fellow Oddworld fan! 😁
This is one of my favorite areas in the game
Mine too, the temple is so soothing 😌
@@derrinmaloney1039 Indeed it is
These vids are amazing
Thank you! ❤
Next episode is out on November 1st! 😁
COOOLL !
Hey man love these videos. I’m a cohost on the JAK’D podcast. We love your work! So much J&D happening lately! I’ve done “trailer mashups” for Jak 2 and 3 on my own channel, I’d love for you to take a look! Keep up the quality content!!
I actually watched your most recent video earlier! It was fantastic, editing on point 😁
Thanks so much for your support, I subbed just there :)
I said it on the Facebook post, and i will say it again. Your Videos are awesome 😍😍😍
Another amazing video keep it up mate
Edit: I think the Camera needs a bit more work better angles but not bad
Thanks dude! As of a few minutes ago, I discovered a feature of the debug mode that lets me mess with the field of view of the camera, so expect some new angles in future - for now, I made a new thumbnail for this video with it using a wider FOV :)
Also on that note, what kind of camerawork would you like to see in future?
I love someone Is doing videos from this game i have a question what Is inside of the precursor orb or how they Are driving a precursor robot
Using the flying camera in the games debug mode, there is unfortunately no hidden pilots seat or hidden internal bits for the robots and orbs. But in terms of lore, I could probably talk about that briefly in future videos if you'd like :)
@@derrinmaloney1039 ok thanks
