Just another Albertson's load taking me up into the crazy winter weather of Idaho and Montana! Trucking in these conditions is not only challenging, but also dangerous.
These scenic views are so worth it though! I hope you enjoy a look into the awesome places I get to travel as an OTR trucker. Trucking isn't for the faint of heart, and it can really test your patience, and skills.
I love what this industry has been able to do for my sense of adventure. Even though at times living over the road can be tough, and people have little respect for semi trucks on the roads, I feel that I have benefited greatly from my experiences out here.

I honestly feel like I’m watching some TV slated show that never made it there. These videos are so well edited I just can’t even fathom the amount of passion all gets put into these videos. It’s truly astonishing, absolutely amazing work to all involved. Keep it up!

Wow! Great work Black Kodiak Media. I am SO impressed with this channel. These videos are like mini-documentaries. The pacing, camera work and editing is fantastic. Still would like to know more about the dog.
You should keep your fuel tanks full, especially when the temperatures are going back and forth between freezing and thawing because moisture can condense out of the air. The more air in the tanks, the more moisture. It's no fun to have fuel problems in the cold.
When you're in the bunk can you drink beer?
The " Tired Old Mech " is totally right. Condensation forms in empty tanks , keep em full.
It's Private I had a 34 hour layover in big springs. Thankfully I stopped there instead of pushing forward to Sidney or Cheyenne. Dodged a bullet for sure lol!
jim crawford absolutely no. You cannot drink beer in your bunk. If you become a trucker, you can only drink if you’re not planning on getting in your truck for at least 34 hours. If you drink the night before a due out, then you’re legally drunk and you can lose your license. Don’t be dumb. Getting your CDL is a massive life change. Kiss all your partying ways goodbye
@@goodluckwithallthat In Wisconsin, if you have a commercial driver's license, the legal blood alcohol content when driving your private, non-commercial vehicle is .04 instead of .08. You really can't risk drinking any alcohol. I had my CDL mainly for test driving trucks and occasionally driving one somewhere to work on another truck and bring a load back. I kept it after I retired because I occasionally drove for various dealers but I dropped it last year.

Those mountain roads are insane! I work at a distribution center and I load and unload trucks all day. I know all about poorly wrapped pallets and poorly loaded trailers. I feel your pain

Every time I back a trailer I hear my instructor from CDL school 6 years ago in my head saying, "where's the problem? Steer toward the problem." It's what works for me, as well.

My father drove for north American van lines. I couldn't wait for the days when I was little that I could go on a short trips with him. Absolutely loved getting in his big rig. Felt like a little king.

I truly respect truck drivers. They definitely have one of the hardest jobs especially during this pandemic. Without you stores wouldn’t be stocked and we wouldn’t have our everyday products at home.
