On a Scale, this is really Mild and GOD knows it can get a lot worse than this experience so you look at ALL the positives that happened on this day. There are a lot of worse places to be stuck in besides Poplar Bluff, MO. 👍 Keep your chin up and things will be different and maybe better tomorrow. 😬
As a truck driver, I can agree on things not always going smooth. Wether picking up or delivering a load, show up early you're wrong, show up late and you're wrong but show up on time, it's "Go wait in your truck for anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple hours and we'll get you to a dock when we're ready for you."
Such a great attitude at all times.. even w/all the stress and deadlines, and traffic... what a beautiful soul. Keep it up girl, you know what your doing... and your taking it by the horns!

I watched the one on your inspection and relived when i got pulled in for my first full inspection. Brings back memories. Love the scenery, that is what i loved most about OTR. Be careful recovering trucks. I recovered one last weekend for our company and had a shotgun pulled on me then had to pay a tow company $3k for storage. Thankfully the truck ran great all the way home to MI... Keep up the hard work and great attitude on life. You're inspiring to all with a fresh perspective and image for trucking! Thank you TONS!!!
Everything did NOT go wrong for you. You got to STL safely, you got your rental car and made it to a warm place to stay for the night. Any of those things not happening would have made for a much worse day. But it could have been better for you. Next day is another adventure. Keep sharing that smile.

I absolutely loved driving truck. I freaking hated the industry. After 12 years in the drivers seat, I left my career 2 years ago. I'm told the trucking industry is better in the US than in Canada, though. Idk. I can live vicariously through your videos.

I used to drive OTR as well, and you're absolutely right that things go wrong!! That job is not for the faint of heart, either, as I've seen some horrible things happen literally right in front of me!! You have a very sweet disposition and a great work ethic which is sometimes hard to find these days!! I enjoy your videos because they remind me of my days OTR. I miss it, but, I'm currently in Law Enforcement because I felt like I wanted to be able to have home time with my family. It's definitely not the same, but, I still use my CDL and am glad I have been able to put it to use!! These videos are honestly super cool. Right now I'm a standup forklift operator in a chemical warehouse, so I pick and stage pallets getting loaded onto trucks constantly. I obviously don't really think about where they're going or anything else that happens to them after my job is done, so this is a pretty cool way of seeing the other side of stuff that I do! I also love travel/ adventure film and photography so keep that sweet B-roll coming!

Just want to say thank you....why you may ask...well I’ve been driving for about 11 years and some days I find it hard to believe I get paid for this other times not so much 👀 watching your videos help renew my passion for my job. I was a mason labor for 10 years and a brick layer for 6 years then everything came crashing down in 2009. I never thought I would leave the construction field but it all came to a end without any warnings so then I ended up working in the steel mill for about a year and a half and that come to a screaming halt so then next I got my cal and been going at it for all this time. There has been some good times and bad...to be honest I have been questioning myself about my job and after watching your videos it made me realize how lucky I am so again thanks and be safe out there

The worst part is driving through St. Louis I use to make a trip from Claremore OK to Kewanee IL and we always drove through that crappy city lol oh I also love your videos always nice to see and hear advice on trucking. I'm currently going through school to get my CDL and I'm so excited to continue this chapter of my life

Just want to say thank you....why you may ask...well I’ve been driving for about 11 years and some days I find it hard to believe I get paid for this other times not so much 👀 watching your videos help renew my passion for my job. I was a mason labor for 10 years and a brick layer for 6 years then everything came crashing down in 2009. I never thought I would leave the construction field but it all came to a end without any warnings so then I ended up working in the steel mill for about a year and a half and that come to a screaming halt so then next I got my cal and been going at it for all this time. There has been some good times and bad...to be honest I have been questioning myself about my job and after watching your videos it made me realize how lucky I am so again thanks and be safe out there

Feeling bad for things out of your control is only you torturing yourself. You just have to remember why you are doing what you are doing and what it means to you. I am an adventure guide and thousand other things, my life goes extremely fast. I don't have much time and I love my life, is what I am trying to say, but when I got that little time to kick back and shut my brain off, I don't now why and how you make this so entertaining! And yes you got an awesome attitude, Wich is a big part, but all in all, Damm you are doing something really right here.. good luck with everything

Absolutely you make it look like it’s glamorous. But that’s a good thing I am a truck driver as well and I don’t come here to see the miserable part of trucking I could just go to my job and see that LOL
The worst part is driving through St. Louis I use to make a trip from Claremore OK to Kewanee IL and we always drove through that crappy city lol oh I also love your videos always nice to see and hear advice on trucking. I'm currently going through school to get my CDL and I'm so excited to continue this chapter of my life
