After three weeks of exploring Singapore, we are back on the road! This time we walk from Singapore to Malaysia! This is our first land border that we cross on land. Is it easy to cross the Singapore border to Malaysia, Johor Bahru? How long does it take and what are the requirements?
Thank you Singapore for the wonderful memories! Hope to be back soon!
Special thanks to Pradeep, our badass host in Singapore!
Thank you Somel and to your beautiful family!
Big hugs to all Singaporeans in the comments who supported us with good thoughts and interesting and useful travel information!

Is that question for entire malaysia or just johor only? If entire malaysia it takes more than 1 month to explore. For johor, the nearest to jb, tanjung piai. The last point on continental eurasia, that is not in sentosa singapore ok(despite signboard there). Since no children tagging along, no point going to legoland which is in johor. Tioman island off mersing will be interesting.
If you are targeting peninsula suggested locations are.
      1.Melaka (Malacca) - after johor
      2. KL of course
      3. Fraser's hill
      4. Cameron highlands
      5. Taiping town and orangutan rehabilitation centre on an island. If you cannot visit borneo, your chance to volunteer there.
      6. Penang (of course)
      7. East coast islands. I am not sure if romanians like beaches and sea with crystal clear waters eg tioman, rawa, perhentians, redang. Some people are not beach type people.
Borneo will have too many places to go. Generally nature and rainforest. Scuba diving, water rafting, mountain climbing, canoneering,

The covered walkways are not just to shield from rain but much more from the hot sun. It encourages people to walk and use public transport. I have walked both ways before. Daily every morning thousands people cross to S'pore to work or school. Some walk across before the bus service starts and the rises. It is then cool with little traffic and most pleasant to walk the 10-15 mins across with hundreds of other people to catch the first bus or train. Some factory buses wait to take workers to work. Welcome. It was in 1965 that Singapore left Malaysia. People cross because S'pore lacks manpower for their industries. The Bah Kut Teh is Meat Ribs Tea literally - herbal pork soup with tou foo (soya bean puffs), mushrooms and ribs meat.
