In Malaysia if you wanna fill the gas by cash you need to go to the counter tell which pump, ron95 and just says full tank/how many ringgit you want...the reason why we have to leave a deposit or pay cash first because there were many cases where people just runaway and didnt pay for the gas..poor for the workers they gonna have to pay for that with their own salary

As a Malaysian, i was never made to pay first if i wanted a "full tank". It's fill up first..pay afterwards bcos i would not know how much. There's no need for a deposit. Afterall, who would dare cheat a Petrol Kiosk? They could immediately send an alert throughout their branches and fellow companies...and that would be the last time my car gets a filling.
The reason you were required to pay first before a full tank fill up was probably bcos she knew you were a tourist. And you could abscond and just leave the country.

Yes..if you want a full tank.
But if you know how much you need..like rm30, you pay first and they set the meter at the counter.

Wow...you guys will have so much fun along the trip.My family used to travel by car from.Kuching to Miri.The trip will take more or less 15 hrs trip if you have direct trip.But I suggest you guys stay 1 night in Sibu and Bintulu so that you can experience the locals foods.Sibu is famous with Kampua mee.

Guys... The roads here are not the same as in the west malaysia. U guys will encounter roads under construction, always make sure u fill up petrol @ gasoline full since some places its hard to find gas station and even some places got no phone coverage...if u guys need to stop for toilet or any emergency... Go to the nearest longhouse u can find ask for help (this is through my experience).. I hope u guys enjoy the road trip and i hope can meet you guys along the way.do drive carefully ok

It's true. Singaporeans arrived in Kota Kinabalu and was shocked to find there's Icecream in Sabah. And we thought they were inteligent people until this..
A college girl from Sabah wrote in the comment section in another YT channel that when she was studying in one of the colleges in West Msia, she had to stay with a foster family. She said..they literally showed her what a refrigerator was and showed her how to open it...SHOCKING!!

For a long road trip, be careful when driving from sibu to bintulu, the road is still under construction & tips for long trips, always pay attention to fill up the car gas tank, whenever u saw a gas station, dont forget to fill up..

Legend goes, the people of sarawak made a pact with the crocodiles to not disturb them or kill/catch them, other than when they killed a human, as if the humans kill/catch them without good reason the crocodiles will avenge for their friend's life and the humans will continue to lose their live (this also applies if the humans wrongfully killed an innocent crocodile)
