Jodd Fair is good but most of the food there are ‘modern’ street food. If you want authentic street food you need to go to Yaowarat for late night eats

Thai food that I would like to recommend: Thai Papaya Salad, Kanom Jeen in Coconut Milk Sauce Green Curry with Rice Boiled chicken leg with hot rice. Very delicious.
If you want to travel and eat traditional Thai food, I recommend Amphawa Floating Market. But here you have to take a bus out of Bangkok for about 1.5 hours. The place is very beautiful. And in Bangkok there is the original Thai floating market as well, but open on Saturdays and Sundays and is not large. Kwan Riam Floating Market and Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market.

It is an insect that naturally digs holes under the ground. But the ones you're eating are crickets that were bred specifically for sale. They keep it clean and safe. And the long white worm is a bamboo worm. found only in bamboo tubes It's a rare worm (of course it's clean) and expensive. And most importantly, it's delicious.
