No matter how long you've been quilting, there is always something new to learn! Thumper recognized that Scott was competing for your affection back in the day.
I am still in love with Grizzley Adams!!!
Hi Thumper.
I still think you have some awesome problem skills. RE! Your thumb as a C clamp - - many things you do in quilting problem solving are just WONDERFUL!
Thanks đ
I test my thread the same way. What is interesting though is that when I see old quilts it is rarely the thread that has broken down. Itâs almost always the fabric that isnât holding up very well.
Yup, it's 90% the fabric that goes first. Most thread I've gotten even from eldery sewists estate and yard sales has been good. I did have a few that may have been garage stored that caused easy breaking here in AZ. I say if it's been stored properly, then even thread still on old wood spools could still be good.
Whew...thank you for re announcing your times.
I gave a hard tine remembering and i was able to put on calendar.đ
Hi Tiffany and Scott. Love your wallhangings. And also love your stories about Thumper. Puts a smile on my face everytime. I am a true cat lover and yours is gorgeous!!!!
Thank you đ
My cat can tell when I don't feel good.
I think most animals know. It's like a 6th sense.
thx for the thread lesson! Had to put down quilting for aboutt 8 yrss due to MS symptoms. WS ready to toss all my thread and start replacing ..now i can test first!â€
It should all still be good after 8 years.
My sewing room is a mess with fabric dust. If you find a way, please let us know.
Tiffany, I found the best thing since sliced bread. Go back to your Optometrist and tell them you want one eye for distance and one eye for reading and your life will change. When I was going to college I discovered this! Also, please tell me if you still have my wall hanging in your closet and I will send the payment if you can find it. Thanks so much.
I'm not sure my brain can handle 2 different eyes lol. Also I'm unsure what wall hanging your interested in? Most all the small projects get auctioned off.
Thanks Tiffany for an excellent evening of quilt entertainment !
Itâs hot and humid in new York 2:11 am and Iâm a night owl
Iâve been watching you since your video began
Keep cool !
Thanks for watching đ
The Postman
Jordan fabrics takes forever to ship their products! My husband and I ordered a kit from them and not only did the not cut the fabric to the right sizes we had to order extra fabric but it took a month to get it.
Oh no đą that sucks. I haven't had a issue so far. Things could have changed in the last 3 years though since I ordered from them. I haven't ordered since they closed the store to be online only.
I had to get trifocals to see the in between areas. So much better than bifocals.
Ahhh đ
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife , Iâve had them about 20 years now. I wouldnât trade them for anything.
Iâm sorry I missed your live! My husband and I went out to dinner with my son and we got back later than expected! My dogs are always next to me when Iâm not feeling well! I think theyâre trying To protect me! I love the sewy/chatty live! Iâm super bummed I missed your auction! I loved the patriotic wall hanging you made and really want to make one! I hope I can catch you live for your mail opening tomorrow and canât wait for your Open Gates video! I always love them!â€
Well, I hope you get to make one. I'll be on in the morning sometime. I am obviously still up here at 12:30am. I talk about my good schedule but still have my random inability to sleep sometimes. I suppose tonight is one of those nights lol. I should turn off the handsome man on the TV and try to sleep again, hahahaha đ đ
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife I completely understand that!
Funny thing... i caught the live earlier when you kept saying your daughter's name, and Alexa on my portal device kept saying that she couldn't quite understand you.đ
Haha that happens. Most times I try to use a bit of Alexa's name and say Lexa but sometimes I forget fans have an Alexa and I say my daughters name haha.
I remember my first pair of bifocals ⊠just try to persevere.. and take them off when your eyes need a break .. and the headaches will go in time ⊠should not be more than a couple of weeks .. but donât overwear them and that should truly help. I am still trying to find the perfect glasses and itâs only been 26 years of wearing them lol hang in there .. â€
Thanks đ
Hay girl happy sunday
Happy Sunday đ
What's all the commotion over potato chip quilts? Aren't they just the courthouse steps pattern?
Ya I'm not sure what the hype is haha đ it's similar to court house steps but pieced sides each time instead of a solid piece of fabric.
I grew up on the VonErich. My crush is Jason Mombasa and country singers Cody Johnson and Aaron Watson. My niece claims I'm a stalker to Aaron.
I'll have to look them up, I don't know manh country singers.

You will get used to the glasses. They need to be worn to get used to them.
Ya I'm hoping so đ
Hi, I just had a thought, would it work to cut off the corner, e.g. both rabbit ears at once, on one end... before you cut the hst's apart?
Only if I square it down first then cut them. Cause if you take the corners off first there will still be little ears after the trim.
My sister usedto say her eyes were alright, she just needed longer arms. Mum used to laugh at me. When I sewed, Ineeded three prs of glasses to focus on different things. Hey you won't have to squint to check lights and darks, just take off your glasses. And isn't your house cleaner and your wrinkles gone without them. All the best.
is that the material that your daughter used to make her skirt for the Renaissance fair? Watching on replay â€
No, she used brown and green batiks for that from my precut bin
Hey Tiffany! My Juki doesn't like Aurifil either so the Connecting Thread you use..how is the lint in the bobbin area with it? Is it cotton or polyester? I'm using Mettler 50wt right now and it's very low lint. MSQC has very high lint so I'm looking for another less expensive thread with a low lint. Thanks!đ
It's a little linty, but not near as much as MSQC or all the small cheaper brands like Coats and such. I honestly don't think it's bad for cotton thread for as much as I sew. I've cleaned out the bobbin area like 4 or 5 times so far this year using it. I think Signature and Aurifil are lintier. But that's my opinion.
Can someone help me. I can't seems to figure out how to link into the live videos.
It 14/7/24. This is the closest I can get. I never know what time to even look.
Thank you for some help.
I'm on every Sunday at 5pm AZ time for Sew Sunday and the 1st and 3rd Thursday at 7am for Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Tiffany how do you like the jukie sewing machine? Is it temperamental?? I looking to buy a new machineđđ»đâ€ïž
I live the Juki. Since it's just mechanical I don't have issues. My motor went out after 6 years of heavy sewing on my other TL-2010Q. But it works. It's just temperamental with some types of thread spools.
Where did you get your case for your essentials thread? I need one
From Hobby Lobby. I have seen some online though.
Can Scott speak up or wear a mic because I canât hear the questions. I can hear you fine Tiffany but he either needs to shout the questions or mic up
He don't want to be heard, that's why I do my best to repeat the question. I'm sorry đ
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife itâs ok. I didnât know. Glad I know now. Thank you for telling me â€
