Was he really holding on with just one hand, 300 feet in the air, with hundreds of pounds of tension in those lines, when he released the line to the boat? I hope there was a harness that I just couldn't really see.
I wondered the same thing. It is a bit more clear in the behind the scenes footage that he is indeed attached to the kite with a harness.
