I think that Jiri will have a good first round and hurt and maybe even knock down glover and his confidence up and glover will shoot a takedown and control him and sub him by RNC or Jiri will try to get up and he will be up against the cage and glover could get a guillotine! So I got glover by 2nd round sub by RNC. But I agree that I do want to see JIRI cause glover said that he was going to retire this year so I want to see JIRI win but I think that glover will win!

Yes, it looks so bad on the UFC that Glover is the champ. Its cool that good old daddy can still do a trick or two but.. You'd hope professional athletes in the form of their lives can take on an older man. Big fan of Jiri, strongly hope he wins. Also, I think Jan Blachowitz went light on him. Jan seemed to highly respect and like Glover, a little too much imo. Jan gave him a birthday gift the day before the fight 🤔congratulating him warmly. I think Jan didn't try his absolute best that night.

I agree with this prediction but strange that Guru is so emotional against Glover who is an amazing an deserved champ.
He makes a lot of good points, but the emotional bias does get quite tedious to listen to. The sport is about watching to see who the best fighters and styles are, not wanting someone to win because you believe that the casual fans will perceive him as a more legitimate champ.

Jiri will not fight like Jan did in that fight, wont exchange hooks like that. Glover will stay to his basics which are pretty solid but it wont work so he will try to land a takedown. Now the question is if Jiri can defend it. I am little worried about Jiri there cuz he said that he doesn't want to just defend but also be dominant on the ground as well, could go wrong, but i believe in my man!

If you read comments about Jiri, people really act like he's some sort of super human.... Yes he's quite a character and his fights are exciting, however he got clipped by both Reyes and Volkan, and has shown that his ground game is not the best. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up KO-ing glover, but I definately wouldn't be surprised if Glover outclasses him...

Just like with 155 and 170, amazing kickboxers will almost always lose to guys with solid grappling of any discipline and decent striking. Up and coming guys who are good strikers or naturally talented on the feet need to basically pull a GSP and become elite grapplers or at least elite at one aspect of grappling. If I hear about “amazing defensive wrestling!” Or “Godly takedown defense!” Again I’m going to puke.
There's nobody with style like Jiri in 155 or 170. He isn't a basic kickboxer, he's more physicall and powerfull.
