Luka looked terrible. Slow, stuck in the mud. Defenders would be pressing the guy with the ball and Luka would just be standing in the same spot for 10-15 seconds without taking a single step to get open and take a pass. He also missed 90% of the shots he took. Very unimpressed.

Joilton has shot for takedowns before when needed, not saying he’ll immediately go in there and shoot but he has it if needed. Also to note the time i saw him get those takedowns was at 155. He’s mentioned how he wants to freeze Shara, so he has intentions of KOing him. This is a closer fight if Joilton mixes it up and gets Shara second guessing late. Hopefully Joilton can last long enough to see it

Pavlovic needed to find an uppercut the overhands were being eaten and his body shots were very effective he just only through a few. It also looked like he hurt his hand which could’ve taken power off his shots not sure. I think it just came down to the unbreakable chin of volkov tbh, 5 rounds maybe that’s different but pavlovic still landed plenty of monstrous shots

Really good/fun fight night, the main and the co main are really hard picks bc Volkov is very underrated and Ikram can surprise Whittaker and be a lot to manage early but Pavlovich reach and explosiveness I think will be too hard to deal with for Volkov and Ikram hasn’t beat anyone at a high level or has any real preparation for someone like Whittaker while Whittaker has been preparing for someone that’s similar enough in style…

I’m trying figure out what style Guru is trying to achieve.
The problem with Johnny Walker is that he has no systematic strategy to winning the fight. He only relies on one shot KO's. So he spams these odd techniques until one catches, but its not a way to consistently win at the high level. He needs to learn to set up his Jab etc. He could probably beat Oezdemir if he would literally just practice his jab, and jab counters etc. but he's not. He's going to miss crazy techniques for a round and a half and then get knocked out once he slows down a bit.
