she was great on AGT but its not the show it's American audience that didn't get her. i got her when I first saw the Asias got talent video clip of her performance and it blew my mind but I think the judges caught on early and continued to be scared of her to help win her over with the audience.

I don’t think that’s the case if I’m being honest like how can a person fit inside that tiny tiny dollhouse
Not just the house, the base of the house as well, which is where her legs were folded. That's actually an old trick that was exposed decades ago, which is why most big magicians don't use it nowadays unless it's part of a greater act. In fact, most of her magic tricks are quite simple and were used by other magicians before. but that's not the point because her talent is not in innovating or inventing new mind blowing magic tricks, but more in her performance and presentation. she uses simple tricks but she compiles them into an awesome performance, like a movie maker who uses CGI for the paranormal stuff in a horror film, the point is not the CGI but the movie as a whole.

The first trick is actually.... Yeah, there’s no way. Look at that thick space and try to imagine a person fitting in there. Plus there’s no door under her, it also looks like she’s too tall to fit anywhere inside the props.

Yes, I like to think of these videos as more of a "one way to do it." I feel that the explanations never quite explain it in a way that makes complete sense. a lot of assumptions are made, and rarely is there proof.. still i find these oddly entertaining.

I think he was also wrong about the camera possibly. See there’s a way you can get a person to choose the picture you want them too using mind games. I don’t personally know the specifics of them but many talented illusionists use them. And Riana is definitely a master of mind games. My bet is that somehow through placement of the photos or through some other way Riana made Mel choose bob.

Riana is not just an illusionist, she also has personality and that's the thing that can attract audience. Her creepy act makes her trick much more enjoyable and entertaining

We all know it was a performance. It’s no different than if the actor was using a stunt man and able to flip five times while falling off a ten stories building without a scratch. She knows her tricks well and without the acting, stage presence and the flawless execution, it will not work. Even Anggun said she knew it wasn’t real but she was still frighten. The talent is not all about the trick, it’s about the entire performance. She is a great performer.
I'm still impressed. Remember: Deception is Art, She mastered it.

I used to work for a magician. The real "art" in magic is the deception. The actual mechanics are often very simple.

Notice how the box was in front of the background? The box had a hole in the back and that's how :>
@@Allebsxii The camera showed the back though, plus it was raised and you could see the floor... impossible for people to walk to the box from the back unnoticed
@@JustACrayFangirl The background wall has a door and a sliding platform level with the bottom of the box. Once Rianna and cameraman clear the back, the actors open the cutout in the wall and slide the platform into the box. This way the folks could move reasonably undetected by the audience into the box one at a time. The platform keeps the actors from being exposed as they are moving from background to the box. The back of the box opens inward unlike the sides and the front. When Rianna goes into the box, she does the same as the actors, only in reverse.
So much supernatural, I got that supernatural reference, but I like how you explained the video. Pretty cool

It was already arranged, she just have to remember the number and it's corresponding names (same as to the camera one), so when the judge chose Bob, she then count the folded papers, remembered Bob's specific placeo in it, unfolded, and shown.
yes i accept that but she still did it very quickly. Also my feelings on it, and when i have seen other magicians, is that the judges, and AGT crew are in on it.
Did anyone see Riana's performance where many people come out from a box like that?
the people were hiding behind that huge screen right behind the box and there is an opening on the screen. There is a latch and a door on the back of the box that they connect to the opening so the people can climb into the box in turn. In the end when she appears next to anggun she climbs into the box crawls over the latch bridge and behind the screen. You can see the zombie guy goes behind the box to close it, and meanwhile riana runs around the stage and behind the judges to scare them

That's where I think he missed some nuance.
That type of camera can change the film manually, it was implemented to recover from Jams and other trouble with the film.
So she dont need to actually take the shots, just roll it and disguise her picking as the camera having mechanic issues.
Being a old model in Bad shape Works as a perfect camouflage because noone os going to doubt about the camera malfunctions once she starts doing it (even if you dont buy the paranormal facade, you'll probably see It as nothing more than her acting).
Actually it's still Awesome how she can do all of that perfectly... I mean for real even if I know the trick, the way she do all of it was so Incredible... Love her so much 🙏
