Collaboration with my friend Tyler Smith ( / smithtylermichael . A short cover of Joe Hisaishi's "Path of the Wind" from the classic Studio Ghibli film "My Neighbor Totoro." Performed on Piano and Japanese Kokyu.

How did you learn to play Kokyu?

Mostly self taught. There's virtually no learning resources for this instrument in English, so I had no choice.

Kameya Hougakki is my favorite, and is the best place to order anything related to wagakki (Japanese instruments) if you don't speak Japanese (they have staff that is bilingual). www.e-kameya.com/english/ You won't see kokyu on their English site, but you can request it via email.
