I bought a 2015 RX350 from a reputable dealer on 04/20/23 with less than 63000 miles with clean Carfax but I will take it to an experienced Lexus mechanic this month for him to go over with a fine tooth comb. I am hoping this will last decades as I drive less than 8000 miles yearly. I am very pleased and have had no issues in the weeks since purchase.
I saw this guy at Tejuosho Mall today. . About the sluggishness of this car, it's not really sluggish. Everything about it is adaptive. It has an adaptive drive by wire system that learns the drivers pattern. If you are a slow driver, the car becomes slow overtime and then frustrate a random person trying to push it. Unplug the batteries for 5mins and perform the idle relearn. You will be shocked how quick the car will respond afterwards. Also, the 2GR and 4GR engines suffer carbon build up in the exhaust valve due to the direct port injection system. Drive the car really hard from time to time to break off the sludge and the engine will become much more responsive.
Finally someone that actually knows what he's saying!! I own a rx 350 2011 and I've raced several German suvs and and won.. Including the so called Mercedes benz ml 350. I was confused when he was talking about sluggishness😂😂😂
I was confused when He said the car is sluggish. I use the 2015 model it very very responsive. My own is very fast and responsive maybe bcuz of the year though. the one He did review with is 2010 version. One of friends drives GLE 350 2016 and we race lots of time when we have outings it always same thing or slightly different. @Crank if you stay in Mainland I can bring my own for you drive it. I learnt our to drive with a V8 car and I have always like fast cars. But this RX350 is not sluggish as you painted it
You failed to mention this in the Camry I’m glad you did in this video. The Lexus IS good at loosing stability and traction when you drive fast and swerve. It’s just that piece of stability on high speed that makes me admire the Benz

Thumbs up for the review of this car. Great job.. had to trade mine off. All issues mentioned got me to a point of frustration, i just had to let go despite its beauty and appearance. First on my list was the sluggish acceleration and considering that a venza xle runs pretty well on same engine, i was no longer willing to bottle the issues. In addition, it has a 1500rpm exhaust drone sound which gets really noisy and annoying when the car gets hot. Despite recalls and newsletters by lexus to solve the drone issue. It was never really solved. Nice car albeit for the issues, doesnt hit a 10/10
Break fading! This happened to me and my guys just last Friday while we were traveling for a wedding. I was driving a 2012 Camry and my guy a 2013 Avalon. The breaks faded at the same time but thank God we were no longer on the highway and almost at our destination but my guy still crashed against the hotel wall while trying to park. Crazy moment!

Brake fading affects all Toyotas, personally experienced it with 2002 Camry and 2012 corolla....Some vehicles like BMW X3 don't have this issue of brake fading....
Well you need to check mine out, I have the RX350L 2018 which is worth almost 45m in Nigeria and I bought mine brand new, the RX IS the most beautiful Lexus out there

The 2019/2020 is the latest generation and it doesn’t have any of these issues mentioned …the main issue with it is that the infotainment has a very bad user experience…response of the screen is slow, navigating the screen is also complex.
@@solibay2006 obviously you are not aware of the Acura MDX oil consumption issue. Honda pilot also burns oil unless you disable the variable cylinder management system

Lexus RX models are less stable on highway at high speed & highly prone to rollovers at sharp bends. I hope the later models fixed this issues. Every other thing feels great.

You forgot to say 2010-2011 requires premium fuel and gas 275 horsepower while ,2012 upwards can use regular fuel

Was it a total break failure?
Brakes fade due to usage. Hard braking will fade your brakes
