I honestly can't laugh at that. He is pretty dumb for letting that happen. I fell down on hardwood stair and it really and can't stress it enough REAALLY hurt. badly badly. You can 100% get hurt with carpeted stairs. It took me a week to even walk somewhat normally and a month for the pain to be moslty gonw.

Not really. Linus has a great foundation and strong legs (and likely bodyweight advantage) Dennis isn't very planted and after the first round is too tired to really deal with it properly

Linus, being 5'7" and 170lbs is actually pretty intimidating. Being a slender build, but with that much weight at his height really shows how much strength he's packing
Yeah honestly don't really watch him anymore, but even when I would, I always thought it looked like he had a bit more muscle and wasn't quite as skinny as everyone said

I really didn't expect Linus to be so athletic... I know nothing about martial arts, but the way Linus pulled Denis off his feet from that kick was pretty impressive
I was thoroughly impressed, I'm sure there are people who actually do muay thai or something similar who would critique him but he seems to enjoy what he does and he's better than the average person.
His triple kick for the point was pretty dang good too. Also when dennis was about to push him out of the ring and but stood his ground on the edge and got dennis off his feet. The point margin was thin due to it being strike = point but honestly linus would have won an actual fight with dennis with complete domination.
I thought I have bad cardio but Dennis has risen my self-esteem tenfold. My man here is impersonation of Garfield 😂😂😂

I've been practicing Traditional Taekwondo for 26 years, Linus learned Traditional indicated by the South Korean patch on Linus's sleeve, Dennis on the other hand learned Olympic. Linus was taught by a great teacher. Clear minded and focused, solid form, focused on defense and waited to strike until a mistake gave him the opening to.
If anyone watching wants to learn, don't go to anywhere like ATA Black Belt Academy that teaches Olympic, try to find somewhere like Master Lees in Savannah GA, thats where I learned. Traditional prepares you for real scenarios where you need to defend yourself to survive, Olympic teaches you to score points in a tournament match.
For reference, you can get your black belt in a year at an Olympic school, whereas it took me 13 years to get my first degree (dan) black belt from a Traditional Master.
For someone who hasn't been a practicing martial arts for so long I was honestly really impressed with Linus's form. Sold backward high spin kick with complete follow through, excellent extension on his high front kicks, good defensive stance that he rarely deviated from and strong recovery. You can also tell Dennis learned point-driven style by his more astute attention to impact location. "he hit my shoulder first" "that was a groin shot". Many of Dennis's points were him taking advantage of the opening Linus created during take downs, which is not something you focus on when you are defending yourself from an attacker but definitely something you do when you're goal is to outscore your opponent.
and for everyone else who wants to actually learn how to fight and not yell hi-yah while flailing their legs around. Check out a bjj/boxing/mma gym.

Dennis was hilarious but Linus is honestly pretty darn impressive. He was level-headed and had very good stamina compared to Dennis. It’s a shame he got hurt in the process but 10/10 fight. I’d watch Linus fight any day of the week. We should get more of this type of content. Maybe pay per view or floatplane exclusives???

Yes, I did watch the video and I didnt see a rematch in the video after they got some legit exercise so they arnt immediately being taken out by the exhaustion.
Linus looked stronger than I thought. It might've been close in points but in terms of fighting skill it was an overwhelming Victory. It also looked like he was holding back.
Yeah it was pretty clear when the stats came in, 170lbs at 5'7" is a lot of muscle for how lean he is.
Dennis is constantly stalling for time and should've been disqualified 20 times ;). Also several takedowns of Linus did not award him points for some reason? Like the one where he hurt his knee. He clearly caught the leg and swept him, but there were no points given. Linus beat him by a mile tbh

The food Linus ate is not really good nutrition-wise, low protein and high energy, and that energy becomes fat. However, this is one week before the match; there's not enough time for the bad effects to show up, but Linus will be full of energy. Starting a healthy diet instead, like Dennis attempted to, will likely leave you out of energy at the start until you adapt. Nutrition has to be more long-term to make any significant changes to your body.

I like CSF as an event - not tech related - channel. I liked it early on as a way to get to know the team, and I would still love for random team members to play games so we get to know them (beyond floatplane - but maybe the discover/connection threshold has been reached) but doing weird, notable stuff on CSF works. I am not yet convinced, but I am anticipatory.
Dennis won by being the nicest guy on CZcams. You can't get a real drop of anger out of him.

This was more of a playful fight, I feel like if they were both in a pit / ring and there were stakes, it would be a much much more interesting fight. I can imagine linus really holds his own when it comes to the beef. Brilliant video, the commentary had me in stitches!
I see a lot of myself in Dennis. I'm a nerd, job in IT, has done martial arts in the past etc. But I also lack decent physical conditioning and cardio. Due to health concerns, I'm quite careful with what kinds of exercises I may take on. This shows how important it is to incorporate getting in a good workout or the fatigue kicks your ass, whether you're competing or in a real life self-defence situation.

It's one of these situations that you think "it's cute and funny" until you're exhausted and pushing through. And have to show a very vulnerable and unfiltered side of yourself.
Which is very balsy to just up show it to the world.
While Dennis makes it's usual humoristic show out of it, you do see him suffer.
And while Linus is the "lets get along with it" with probably the sense to "get into a show with a clown and jester to make a funny skit", he does get hurt. And it really does change your energy and focus and behavior. For both of them.
The progression is very fascinating to see, but again, very human and open - unfiltered and courageous to allow yourself this transparent and "real" in front of your colleagues, employees and audience. Without being cringelords. Courageous. ALbeit, the buildup was for me more satisfying and entertaining as the actual fighting

Two points: Linus is in an incredible shape for his age and profession; and Dennis even attempting to take Linus on with only a WEEK of preparation with his cardio, was either very stupid of him or done on purpose for comedic value

It's funny to see how much Linus is holding back because taekwendo is not his usual style. If it wasn't as tightly regulated Denis wouldn't even be walking home 😂 the amount of times that he could have just K.O.'d him in the first round is pretty impressive 😂

honestly I don't know of any CEO/owner who treats the people who work with him exactly like family. that shows how humble and caring Linus is. I'm honestly a fan
@@ahsanamir3491 Hard to be angry at an employee when you get to settle these kinds of problems in a sparring match and make content out of it. In most other companies Dennis would have been fired or forced to pay for the repairs, but a really good CSF video can pay for the repairs. (yes i am aware only a very very small fraction of this videos revenue will make it into linus' pockets for the repairs, most goes to LMG funds, but its still fun and brilliant content.)
They both put up a good fight. Would love to see another fight, both with some more training, though it's obvious (especially in Linus' case) they are both experienced in martial arts, if a little rusty
