I just don't understand how it is that the reference is the same track your trying to master. I'm wondering what was the analysis editing time for?

Ok so I’ve been out of the game for awhile
Long story short I failed
Where is Steven slate ?
I saw he sold the company or something ,but could /would anyone want to catch me up on four to five years of missing out on what happened ?
I’m just wondering why he left ?is fabricio(spelling )still part of the company?
Is the quality of say the virtual mix plugins as good as they used to be ?
Did I miss anything funny ?(I know ,I ask for your grace as I had a child 4-5 years ago and have been struggling with a lot of things during that time )

Hey! I’m happy to catch you up to speed. Slate Digital was acquired by Audiotonix in October 2022. Steven and Fabrice are no longer at the company, but the quality remains the same. We have the same amazing devs already making new incredible plugins :)

So, you can only use WAV files on the reference tracks? Tried to load a song I was using as a reference when I was mixing, and it wouldn't let me. It was a MP4

Yes, the track needs to be .wav. I apologize for the confusion.
