@@polarbeahr6410 my max was 2200 something and I've been stuck at 1800s, the biggest thing keeping someone from reaching higher is always the tilt tbh, if you start seeing yourself getting tilted from bad rng just call it a night, you'll make a lot worst decisions and calc things wrong (like in my game against Freezai I forgot to take into account electric terrain and got one shot on my mimikyu)
The existence of the timer makes it feel like cheating to me. Either you know the info or look it up and waste timer, but showdex gets rid of that problem.
That 3rd match was unwinnable, holy fuck. Salazzle and Tera Dark Swalot with Toxic/Protecc? Nah, you couldn't do anything without the op making a mistake.

That happens when you're higher rated than your opponent. That's just how statistical rating systems work. Your rating predicts your likelihood to win vs a given opponent, so if the expected result happens, you should expect less of a rating change than if something unexpected happens.
Why did you use psychic against salazzle instead of shadow ball? I feel like shadow ball would still do a lot of damage do Salazzle since it is really frail, but stop the free bronzong switch in. Actually, the first time you attacked with grumpig, he switched out without using protect. If you used shadow ball there instead, you would have done a ton of damage.
How does he see al those stats like how much damage each attack will do and stuff? i only see hp and abbility and other things but not eveything below... pls hel me out
The key with salazzle is you have to get rid of its subs at all cost and predict protects with switches and and set up moves. There is no problem with just constantly attacking salazzle, but you will 100% lose a mon and have another about to die. If you switch or do a set up move when salazzle sets up a sub, you’ve just lost an extra mon you didn’t need to lose. As a salazzle user, don’t be scared to use sub twice in a row when your opponent thinks you’re gonna protect, it can secure a kill you have no reason getting doing that.
On that salazzle bronzong matchup you probably needed to keep gengar healthy? Show delibird early, after that you know bronzong is probably coming next so double into gengar and hit something for big damage maybe
This is the reason I dont play Random Battles anymore. I just watch. Gen 9 Toxic users are rare and for the other player to have 2 toxic stallers against your team with no pokemon to counter it. It's mostly that Salazzle is a broken Pokemon. Being able to toxic steel and poison types with Sub and Protect. Pretty much means u can wall anything that does not have the infiltrator ability and those are far and few between. Salazzle really does not have a true weakness other than Magic Bounce Pokemon and Infiltrator which is a bit broken. Mode should remove Salazzle like they did Chi-Yu. Noticed the the council removes pokemon where the thing that should be a counter is not a counter because of how broken a pokemon is. Salazzle is essentially doing just that.
I hate the salazzle set in randbats with a passion, it's annoying to go against and annoying to use. Definitely not the most broken thing in the tier but still virtually unbeatable in certain matchups
