Man, I already said this before, but Vincent is terrible at explaining things and making excuses. Don't just sit there saying "It's not what you think" and let Catherine say all of those things...

If you're wondering why Katherine is so slow at climbing compared to Vincent in the Catherine stage, it's because if you think about it, Vincent is practiced, as he's been doing that for the past week, Katherine had only first started then. Go back to the first episode and see how fast Vincent was climbing, then compare it to how fast he's climbing now. Katherine may be going around a similar speed.
I know it's kind of late, but Vincent is climbing fast cause of the drinking mechanic the more you drink at the bar the faster you are in the dream

I gotta be honest. Despite how ungodly hard that climbing sequence was, I really liked how it was done. I mean, even though it took me near an hour to beat it, the whole time I found myself verbally trying to calm Katherine rather than screaming at the TV like the other levels. I'unno, I really liked her character, so I was very protective.

Wait, you can choose Catherine instead? That's kinda cool, it means the game isn't at linear as I thought.
I assumed it made you choose Katherine no matter what, the only difference being how well things went with telling her about Catherine.

Catherine truly does love Vincent but you need to be chaotic (red or "bad") enough for her to get the good or true ending. She truly is attempting to save him which is why she is so angry when Vincent attempts to break up with her. Any questions, just reply to this and I will attempt to answer them to the best of my ability.

I think that scene when she was beating him up in the toilet actually shows how sexism or expected gender roles or however you call it also hurt men not only women. If Vincent was a woman who's just broken up with her lover, and then he would proceed to drag her into the toilet and beat the shit out of her while yelling, there's no way in hell her best female friends would be just sitting there chilling outside, listening to what easily could be heard as her dying screams. But it seems like Orlando and Toby felt it to be a man's duty to stand up for himself and manage without getting any outside help or perhaps even without hitting back.

I hate how people continue to say that they would have picked Catherine because she's a free spirit and doesn't believe in being tied down. When your in your old age, you can't keep expecting to live so freely. As far as I'm concerned, Katherine is the best choice for Vincent. She looks towards an actual feasible future. You would be living quite a sad life if you keep having Catherine's mindset into your 50s and up. None of that is possible in those ages.

Knowing Erica's secret and then rewatching the series i notice all the little things and understand them it's f-ing hilarious

Then K being all FORCED DRAMA instead of just going through the damn door at the end. WTFingF. C would piss me off if she were normal but she clearly has ulterior motives so it doesn't actually bother me but it's like everyone in this story is designed to piss me off, jeez...

Actually, I'll have to disagree with some of you. Vincent does have some backbone, especially when it comes to protecting Katherine. Even though he's constantly confused, stumbling over his decisions, and often drowned out by someone else's words, he was able to stand up and fight when it came to what he truly cares about. And his constant confusion over what's right or wrong is completely understandable. Isn't that what we're all doing? Questioning our morals, and trying to come up with reasons to justify our actions? If you really think about it, Vincent's passive and unsure character might have something to do with his past (he's also rather naïve for taking both K and C's words about the Steve guy. It's definitely a possibility that either girl could be bullshitting him). The fact that he can take a beating from a girl without much resistance says something too. He's a good guy that finally got his priorities straight, and I support him 100% whether he were to be with Katherine or leave both girls, because Katherine is too controlling and demanding, which makes it easy to drag Vincent around while Catherine's a psycho/demon, but even as a person she has little depth to her cheery stereotypical girly personality and, to put simply, she's a slut. Not to put judgment on any ladies out there with a promiscuous reputation, but we can agree that Catherine isn't exactly conducting herself with much dignity in that regard.

I've also been waiting for the reaction to the scene where Catherine went psycho. And tried to kill Katherine. I guess you can come to the assumption I've watched this game before. This is my third time. The first two times, someone made a movie out of the game. Did only cutscenes. No gameplay. So, excluding the actual rage inducing gameplay, this game is about two and a half-ish hours long.....
And the third time was for shits, giggles, and to see Cry's reaction to things. And his choices.
I did expect that Catherine appeared in his room this way but damn that was creepy how she appeared behind Vincent.
And yet, I did not expect to see stuff go like this.
The ending to this video with the music and the cut scene was awesome! Good work cry

To be fair the rest don't acknowlegde Catherine, they just know Vince was feeling beat up, not who he was beaten up by or even the fact he was beat up, because they didn't see Catherine there.

There's actually 3 Katherine, 3 Catherine, and 2 neutral endings, with their varying degrees of 'goodness' and 'badness'. Personally I'm hoping Cry stumbles into the good neutral ending.
Oh, and there's also a "9th" multiplayer ending. Not related to the story, but it's still kind of funny.

As soon as Vincent opened the door for Katherine and Catherine showed up out of nowhere, I instantly knew it was gonna' end in either a catfight or death...call it a woman's intuition xD.
ALSO CRY, ENCOURAGING KATHERINE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE LEVEL WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER OMFG.
I love how the soundtrack is mostly classical. First Beethoven in some of the earlier scenes, and now Chopin around 10:30? It kind of feels like it wants you to think that the music is so familiar, yet you don't always know why, just like Vincent's familiarity with the guests at the Stray Sheep. That's how I see it, at least.
When Katherine said "Vincent, do you...?" I think it was a reply to him saying "You've gotta believe in me". As in she was asking whether or not he believed in himself.
I kept snapping at the screen for Cry to slow down in that final leg of the stage - seeing as it was clear Katherine was dying because Vincent was getting too far ahead of her.
It's _still_ not over yet? That means we gotta wait until Monday...

Vincent gets stabbed and nobody cares. Catherine doesn't care that she just accidentally stabbed her "lover", while Katherine doesn't care that the man she has loved for many years is laying on the ground with a knife wound. Nice going girls.

It really pisses me off that if Vincent was female and Catherine male, there would've been a HUGE controversy over the abuse scene in the bathroom, but since it's a girl beating up a guy, there's not been a peep.

The thing is that whenever I watch someone playing this on twitch there actually is a huge reaction to the beating in the bathroom. I think there's not much of a peep here because people are more focused on how the video finished at the end with Vincent saving Katherine.
