One of those drills has a brushed motor and the other a brushless. A fairer test re. battery comparison would've been to use 2 of the same motored drills; one fitted with 2ah battery, and the other with a 3ah battery.
I’m a fan, and am subscribed, and wanted t9 give you some of my feedback, and a suggestion, in reference to the newly released, 5.0 Ah batteries! They DO make a difference, and now a 5.0 stays on my DCD 701! The little drill, has some guts, but sucks the little 2.0 Ah batteries dry, very fast. This has always been the case with DeWalt, down through time. I owned and used 12 and 18 Volt tools in the NiCd days, and the tools would ‘suck’ the life out of the batteries. I’ve literally seen tradesmen Chuck a used worn out battery in the trash! It may be why some of the tools get hot or burn up, like the ‘infamous 887,’ which has been over dramatized by the VCG crew. Who knows? YMMV Cheers from the states! Stay safe and Healthy! 👍👍👍😁✌🏻🇬🇧🇺🇸
Great video. I really prefer the mechanical clutch on the old 12v. It is much more consistent then say the M12 Fuel electronic clutch. Question: Does the new DCD701 have an electronic clutch?
You should get a torque wrench and measure break away torque on the new 12v dcf902 and compare the 2ah and 3ah. Will be able to put a number on the power change if their is one.
Hi Milton, Thanks for that video on the battery update. Sorry it made you frustrated, LOL.. Yes, It looks like the new DeWalt 12v tool line will differently need some larger ah batteries for power.

A head to head is on it's way. I haven't been answering much recently, i've been busy, very busy. I hope you are enjoying the Videos however.
Great Chanel
Those battery r perfect in 2.amp. They just need a small hammer drill.
They do have a Combi but I can't find it anywhere.
