There is a lot of symbolism in this video and the lyrics. The 'vampire' used her for her fame (and just in general too- she says she truly loved him and later says he can't love anyone - he does not have a heart). It sounds like he is also famous (or is in the entertainment industry at least - building castles - cool guy, seeing parties and the diamonds, etc).
The stage scene- my guess is that getting hit and cut by the stage light symbolizes what happened to her (being used/deceived) -it was painful, she did not see it coming, and it happened in the midst of her life as a famous singer.
The stage scene has posters that look similar to a Grammys poster- that scene represents her performing at an awards show. By the reactions of audience members, it seems as though some of them at first think the fire and drama are part of the performance (They clap and smile). The audience members are other famous people seeing her public appearances or seeing some of what is happening in her life, and not necessarily knowing she is in a bad situation or being hurt.
This makes me think of how audiences, tv networks, etc.can often see a performance, rather than seeing the actual person. (And sometimes those of us watching a performance do not have a way to really see the person or know how they are actually feeling - but regardless, some audiences, tv networks, etc. will only see, and only really value the performance...)
More about the 'vampire' selling her for parts- she felt commodified by him. Selling something for parts- you do not value the item as a whole or have a use for it in your life- you just sell it for parts to make as much money as you can. It is dismantled.
So much of the symbolism in the video I am unsure about- the police/guards- no idea! Also the floating- looks like fun; no idea what it means in this video.
Speculation: "You only come out at night"- he is cheating on someone else when he visits Olivia. And vampires only come out at night - so he fits the description.

I have seen your reactions and just saw that you did Dimash a few days ago I dont know if anyone has suggested to you to check out his female couterpart in Diana Ankudinova I would suggest starting with her cover or rendetion of Cant Help Falling in Love from the showmaskgoon russian tv contest at 18 years old and then she has a few songs from when she was younger such as wicked games cover at age 14 she also has a very wide range and she is polyphonic as well she is a Dramtic contralto I would love to see your reaction and hear what you have to say she also has a brand new original song which is The Day You with Brandon Stone at a new years celebration sorry this is so long

That was an odd one. I do like her voice tho. Found you from the Dimash video. You are in for a journey with him and I'm so excited to see it! If I may suggest a couple of other artists that I think you will enjoy and will knock your socks off :D Forestella - Cover of Bad Romance. They're a quartet. 2 Trained opera singers, 1 musical theatre trained and I believe 1 who is not formally trained. There's a surprise voice in their group, but I'm not going to spoil it. You'll know it when you hear it! Your goosebumps will get goosebumps! :) Hua Chenyu. Chinese singer, song writer and composer. Most people start with Nunchucks. It's a good place to start to see his habit of mixing genres. Incredibly talented with a beautiful voice. You never know where his songs will take you. He's technically not *quite* as good as Dimash BUT he's a genius in his composing with an incredible vocal range. Fake Monk from him is pure art, there's no other way to describe it. He also doesn't fit in any genre as he jumps all over the place. Looking forward to new reactions from you :)
