We have injuries in the forward positions that's why we need forwards after Nunez got injured we only had gakpo and Salah left and we had to use midfield in forward positions if we didn't have gakpo it would only be Salah now Nunez is back so we have three but if one gets injured it's back to midfield in a forward position
Like a week after I commented this we have a defender injured konate that van dijk and konate gone now it's Gomez and matip Gomez can make mistakes sometimes klopp is also recalling players from loan to be ready for this again

My brain wants to commit suicide after listening to this video, sure Liverpool don’t buy midfielders but they haven’t got the financial backing for them such as Enzo Fernandez wanted him Chelsea bought him for like 122 million or something ridiculous what Liverpool do is not spend a ridiculous amount of money on players who could flop or even just be injury prone, they clearly learnt after naby keita, and people may say Nunez is a flop watch him be back to his best next season along side gakpo salah and Diaz, what we will do is become more attacking I believe we should change our formation to a 4-2-3-1 this would allow less crisis for our midfield therefore we can rotate our players accordingly and would only have to buy 2 new midfielders instead of 3 we would also play more attacking but our defense is amazing anyway we should replace Matip with gvardiol I love Matip but he’s always an injury doubt is very slow and isn’t always in form, if we do get Matheus Nunes bellingham and gvardiol I believe we have a good chance of winning the prem or champions league (if we get into it) next season
