He can just unscrew it from the inside. The housing will come off. Remove any guards, pull the whole core and key right out and then disassemble. Once you get inside, door handles can be easily disassembled with usually just a screwdriver.
He trapped a spring too, chances are he left them stranded and doesn't even have a rekey set let alone the knowledge of what he did seeing as he cut the clop... phony scam@@Android25K
That storm door pneumatic being on the bottom and on the wrong side means it's going to get stepped on easily and broken and the hinges are on the same side as egress ingress making it way more difficult to maneuver. Upside-down door because the pneumatic should be at the top

i was a locksmithing apprentice for 4 years. we found that graphite lubricant is great, the only issue is when people don’t know that graphite lubricant has been used before they tend to use liquid lubricants which doesn’t end well with graphite lubricant as it creates almost a paste

He put a different color ring on to make it seem like he knows what he is doing. They are different hardnesses to change how fast the key rebounds, but judging by this video, this guy isnt skilled or knowledgeable enough to actually utilize the tools properly.
Yeah you have to have some kind of ID to prove who you are and that what you're trying to access is yours before they even touch the lock. Twice its happened in my lifetime, and found it highly frustrating that all my ID was in the house, had to get the landlord out verify I was the tenant 😅

Only deadbolt style locks turn opposite from the frame. Knobs can go right or left. it just depends. If I remember correctly, kwikset knobs unlock counterclockwise no matter the positioning to the frame

I remember when I first got into lock picking and picked my way into my apartment after school. For some reason I had the kit in my bag and forgot my keys so I was locked out. Maybe after 15 minutes I look in my bag and realize I have the kit. Within 2 minutes I was into my apartment and it was so easy to do.
Y'all... bump keys are not going to break the lock. They make the pins in the lock "jump" a bit. That little rubber ring he put on it let's the key pop back out so he can try repeatedly until they hop into the correct position.
And that’s why I have a keypad deadbolt. 1, no lock cylinder to pick. 2, I can’t lock myself out because I know the code. 3, if I need the neighbor to check on my animals I can give her the guest code and change it when she’s done checking on the pets. Also I have a thumb latch style door striker so it doesn’t have a lock cylinder it’s just the deadbolt that locks. Regular knob on the inside.
You can remove the nut and bolt holding the screen door pump from the triangular bracket screwed to the door frame. I went throo this back in the day. Eventually, you just end up putting back the bolt.
What contractor installs the screen/storm door on opposing hinge? That would drive me crazy dealing with that every day

Wd-40/ wet lubricants will eventually gum up the lock. Look into graphite powder as itll keep the lock dry but slippy

Idk man, I've been using WD-40 on locks for years. Cars, mopeds, doors etc. Never had a problem with it.

Professional locksmiths don't use WD40 as it will end up eventually destroying the lock. They use graphite.

It's a quickset. All quickset turn left to unlock. Schlage turns right. Most quickset will fall upen with basic rake.
