i remember seeing this guy play in a pre season game against Southampton and at the san siro against AC Milan both occasions he destroyed the defence. This guy for 3 years outscored the likes of ibra, milito, eto, cavanni it is honestly on reflection almost mythical that a 30 years old plus player who spent most of his early career going from club to club in serie b and c goes onto be the best striker in serie a for almost 3 years.
Uomo, bandiera, fenomeno, tutto in un unico giocatore, purtroppo poco pubblicizzato ma per me resti uno dei migliori calciatori di sempre ❤️

Non era sottovalutato,la Juventus lo ha cercato ma lui ha preferito restare dove lui e la sua famiglia sono sempre stati amati. Anche per questo a Cesena al momento della sostituzione gli abbiamo riservato una standing ovation,nonostante una delle sue punizioni con cui ci aveva appena steso.O magari proprio per quella.Gli si è riconosciuto il vero significato del giocatore bandiera,che pur non prendendo i milioni di tanti altri non tradisce

To me this guy was the best striker in the world during a few years. Being able to score so many goals in a small club like Udinese, almost single handedly taking his team to champions league qualifying stage is simply astonishing.
